Perfect for Sciatica and deep knots
I have some really deep knots in my lower back that even muscle relaxers weren’t helping and my hubs has sciatica- I can’t rub deeply enough to help him. When I complained about my back hurting at work my coworker handed me this ball and told me to try it. It’s amazing! It’s very hard- harder and bigger than the tennis balls I’ve used. It’s easier to use when you’re rolling against a wall bc it doesn’t slip. I ordered my own that night. I debated about some cheaper versions and can’t speak to how effective any other brands are, but I’m glad I didn’t. I use it multiple times a day. At 1st I rolled my back against the wall for 15-30 minutes but after 2-3 times the knots were gone. Now I use it for a few minutes anytime my back starts aching (when I first wake up, after sitting at my desk). My hubs uses it against a wall and laying on it. Much cheaper than the PT my doctor recommended (although that’s probably better for getting to the root of the problem), portable, just really effective at pain relief. Works on shoulder and neck knots too!

A Game Changer for Sore Feet
This is my new go-to tool for relieving tightness and trigger points. The firmness is a little intense and took some practice at first. I’m used to the feel of a tennis ball, but I needed something that didn’t squash as easily for those deeper areas. I’ve used it on my back, shoulders, and hips, and it really gets into those deep knots that are hard to reach with foam rollers. Best of all is when used for sore feet. It’s also small enough to target specific areas and portable enough to toss in an over night bag.I roll it under my feet or lean against a wall to work on my shoulder blades. It’s simple to use and always feels effective. It’s definitely helped with my mobility and soreness after workouts. It gets the job done.

This is a fun stretch/exercise enhancer- very durable
I exercise alot and I like trying new fitness items. This ball was more of a treat or experiment for me than a necessity. I am not prone to muscle knots and when I do have pain or discomfort, I usually just walk it off til it feels better; massaging never really crossed my mind as an option for pain and tightness but I do see alot of people at the gym using balls like this one and rollers so when the opportunity to try this one came along, I was excited.Even though the size was clearly explained on Amazon, I was surprised to see the ball when it arrived. It seemed smaller than I had imagined. But I was impressed with how hard it is. It really presses into whatever body part I try it on and the material it is made of has a good amount of friction with the wall or floor so even if I am not pushing against the ball very hard, it doesnt roll away, it stays put.The packaging is attractive. The little carrying bag seems durable and lightweight enough, so I can see this being good for people who like to bring their own items to the gym with them. I do wish it came with more instruction and ideas for use. Like I said, using this was my first time using a massage ball or anything like it, so I could see on the little card it came with, that I could put it between my shoulder and the floor, between my glute and the floor, between my back and the wall but then I didn't know what I should really do after that or what I should expect it to feel like, or how long I should do it for optimal results, etc. I found a short video with a couple using the ball and smiling but it didn't help me any more than the little card the ball came with. So, I guess it has been trial and error, figuring out what feels good and how I think I should use this.I've found I like adding the ball into other stretches or exercises. Like if I am doing wall sits, massage my back with the ball or if I am going to do hip thrusters, roll my feet on the ball. Ive only had it for a week, Im sure Ill come up with more ideas. While I am using the ball, it isn't a sensation I really enjoy but I do notice I like the way I feel on the muscles I used it on later in the day. Also, oddly enough, when I sneeze, especially if I have been training my back that day, my back tenses up so much that it hurts but since I have been using the muscle max on my back, it hasn't been tensing up as much when I sneeze. That was an unexpected but welcomed result.I cant honestly say if this product seems like a good value for the money because I haven't ever bought any similar product or gone to a human massager, so that's why I left that unrated.

Overall a Very Good Massage Ball.
This is a great ball for working out the kinks, and does 95% of what it claims. The reason I dinged it a star is that I bought it for back pain relief. One picture shows it centered on the spine and I figured based on that, it could be used like one of those "Miracle Ball" things for your back (those work but they're very poor construction).THIS ball is about the size of a baseball, and just as hard. NOT so good for laying on. HOWEVER, for working out kinks and sore muscles, it's awesome; all they claim. The textured surface allows for a good grip, and it will really dig in to muscles. Granted, staying hydrated, stretching and proper potassium intake help too... This is a handy tool though, and light and small enough to easily travel with you. Another nice feature is that it doesn't seem particularly prone to picking up dirt and stains.

Perfect for sore muscles/knots
This ball is perfect for working smaller knots and muscle tension. It's firm and high quality, and has helped roll out muscles/knots that larger rollers can't target. Great value for money
