For a Nicer than Water Slick
While one can use water to slick/burnish leather, this product works better. It seals and burnishes to a point of the back side looking almost as nice as the front.

Great burnish
This is a great product that most of the leather working industry uses and after use, you can tell why. It leave a great burnish in on edges and can even lay down the rough side of leather well. I use mine for wallets in the flesh side of the leather to make it smoother to get cards in and out. It’s worth every dollar for you projects you are working on.

Works but slow on softer leathers
I was hoping this would work quickly on the leather projects I was doing. However, it felt like it took forever to seal and burnish the edges on the softer leather glue joints. It is very smooth to apply - I used a small paint brush. I am still new at this type of leather work and will experiment with it on different types of leather I have. Will also use some other products I have ordered and revise my review.

Works very well for burnishing leather under sides and edges
Seems expensive but a tiny bit goes a long way. Used for a belt that had a very fuzzy underside. This smoothed it right down using a wooden burnisher. Also used it to burnish edges and brought them to a nice shiny finish. No odor-easy to remove from hands and tools. Highly recommended.

Goes on great and looks great afterwards!
Tokonole kept coming up in my research to finish leather edges, and so I thought I would try it and see. Oh my gosh, after the first time using it, I was amazed on how nice the edges looked. I just apply a small amount with a brush, and then burnish. I will always use it for all my leather projects! I'm still on the same jar after many projects, so it's a good value.
