The media could not be loaded. So this little garbage can is so beautiful you won’t ever look at it as an ugly trashcan you have to simply put up with. This one is sleek, very expensive look and it functions exactly as described. I find myself finding all sorts of excuses to throw something away, why walk all the way from my living room passing 2 garbage bins, just to throw away something in this bathroom with the sophisticated trans can, this product is that cool.Smell Control: so to test this function, I own three cats and scooping is a daily thing for my family to clean. We have these little cat sopping bags that we tie and dispose of. I threw a full bag in this garbage and the entire day it didn’t smell one bit, so there is truly something to this odor control.The motion sensor works flawlessly, 4 batteries (and make sure not to use old ones from other devices, so if you get any random 4 batteries and the unit opens but doesn’t close, it’s your batteries being drained which prevents the system from closing after it opens. If you put iffy batteries what could also happen is the light from the sensor will come on, but the unit won’t open or close. This means the batteries inside are super drained. Don’t be alarmed if this happened to you, it’s just the batteries when you get some new ones and pop it in it will work just as advertised.CONS: I can’t seem to find any, but if I’m nitpicking and forced by God himself to have one critical thing to say about this thing it’s the volume of the lid opening and closing. It isn’t super loud it’s just noticeable is all, not in a disturbing way, I just wish they made it silent. Now even if they never ever improve this and the company themselves reach me and say “we will never make it quieter” I will still buy 3 more because it’s awesome either way.Hope this helped someone.

I had put this in my cart to purchase for a while and finally did. I'm glad I did. The only negative is that I'm so used to an open trash can that I keep dropping stuff this one forgetting it has a lid. However, being that this is for a bathroom, it's perfect. It's quiet, works well and hides all the trash from guests. It's heavy enough to be sturdy but not so much that it's bulky. I've had this a full week now and the sensor is great. I will repurchase for other rooms.

No hands use and streamline ... Perfect for our needs! Just the right size and still productive!Bag stays inside...may need a little bit of time to place the bag within the removable ring which is effective in keeping the bag in place during use of the bathroom can.JUST LOVE THE EASE AND PERFORMANCE...DEFINTELY A GOOD THING!

Love the product. Looks small but plenty of space inside. Looks are deceiving. Only complaint is that the batteries pop out. So if you bang into it or remove the trash bag, the batteries will pop out.

My first complaint about this was that the sensor was extremely slow I would have to wave my hand back and forth a few times before the lid actually opened. Fast forward a month after purchasing the lid will not open. It is a perfect size trash can but didn’t last for meUpdate! Customer service was great they helped me with an replacement it’s been over a month and do not have any issues

I purchased this product to replace my regular trash cans in my bathrooms. I don’t like seeing the trash and didn’t want a trash can that you have to step on to throw away trash. Those are just flimsy since you don’t need a big trash bin for bathrooms.I purchased one of these trash bins for my master bathroom and loved the way it functions as well as the clean look. I have since converted to this trash bin for my other 2 bathrooms.

It is now March and it no longer works.A couple of days ago, I waved my hand over the sensor to open the lid and one of the plastic lid-lifting gears snapped in half, rendering the mechanism completely inoperable.I was surprised because I've only had it for a few months and don't even use it very often (maybe once a week). It has never fallen over or been dropped or abused in any way.I really liked this trashcan when it worked, so I wish there were some way to fix it. Unfortunately, when mechanical parts are made from cheap plastic, there's a good chance that they won't last long.Things I liked about this product:- simple, smooth receptacle design is easy to clean- lid opens sideways, which is convenient for person sitting next to it- battery-operated (no need for USB charging)- interior liner ring to neatly hold bag in place- easy to operate with on/off buttons- perfect size and shape for placement next to toilet- reliable (and not overly-sensitive) sensorThings I did not like:- no handles on sides (which would have made moving trashcan easier)- CHEAP PLASTIC GEARS THAT BREAK FOR NO REASON AFTER A FEW MONTHS ($30 for this thing and you can't even give us metal gears?)- When it inevitably breaks, you won't be able to fix it
