Ideal for my scarecrow competition we done as a community

Solid quality doll eyes and very realistic in colouring and shine. Well made with a perfect surface that doesn't scratch easily and a good size for most projects.Only comment is the price as it is a bit much for one pair. That said they are very high quality and ideal for use with doll making.

We have been wanting to add open eyes to a 'sleeping' reborn doll.After watching several how to's we decided we would try itThis kit has 1 pair and as they were offered to try for free, we went with the size and colour available.The back of the eye is just an empty half ball, no rod or anything in there.so unless you have some sort of inner head support for your toy, you are going to have to fabricate one yourself.You cant sew them in though you could possibly incorporate some form of pocket for the eyes to fit into.On reborn dolls there is sometimes an inner bulb bit behind the eye but not always.For our doll we will need to cut to insert them and probably go up through the neck hole .Well be getting some specialised glue for putting ours in with.The outer diameter of these eyes is about 23mmThe iris is 13mm and the pupil is 6mm so for baby dolls you want to have the iris taking up most of the eye space anyway with the rest hidden behind.I think the pupil looks a little small for a baby doll but it will probably look better once they are in.They are pretty realistic, not cartoony and with a good blend of blue and sort of browny greens.If we manage to get a good result , I'll come back and put some pictures of it on.****Have just finished putting them in so have added a picture of the result which we are very pleased with .
