I liked everything

This is quite a good story, for kids it's all action, there's not really any filler. The PAW Patrol have to save a dam before the storm comes with their new trucker friend Al. It sees all the PAW Patrol having a truck. It has all the usual characters and it has a sense of familiarity, it's a typical PAW Patrol book, pups save the day.It is well presented with a shiny front cover and large bright and engaging images that match the TV show perfectly.There are quite a lot of words for a book like this so it's best for older kids if they are reading it themselves but my daughter is three and loves me to read it to her. However the language is simple and the images actually tell the story without the words, the words back the images up to expand and give context.The imagery is sharp, bright and detailed and this is in contrast to other Paw Patrol books where the imagery is blurry and looks like screenshots from the TV show. Here is is all nicely drawn and fits the words.I like how it is stylised a little too with close ups overlayed on top of the imagery such as pups in the trucks.It is an action packed and fun story with well thought out and drawn imagery. If your child is a PAW Patrol fan they will really love this.

Nice illustrations on good quality colourful paper.Lots of words for the older reader or a fun bedtime read for the younger.An up to the moment favourite for my young grandson who loves the program and has some of the books as part of a collection.An ideal for bedtime or anytime short story book.The pages are high gloss and very colourful packed with your favourite paw patrol characters on a mission to fix a train wreck followed by a weather disaster.Some new vehicles in the form of heavy trucks are required for the job.These are guaranteed to excite and the youngster will want to study the pages when they are introduced.
