Silhouette 8.5"X11" Foil Transfer Sheets 6/Pkg - Gold

I used the Silhouette Printable Adhesive Foil with my CAMEO machine to create personalized wine labels for our baby shower, and they turned out beautifully. The gold foil prints cleanly and has a rich, vibrant finish that looks high-end. It cuts easily with the CAMEO and adheres well to bottles and other smooth surfaces without peeling. The sheets fed through my printer without any jams, and the final result held up well even after handling. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add a personalized, professional touch to party favors, crafts, or gifts.

This foil sticker paper is great. And the price is great. This one looks like (or is) real shiny gold foil. It’s a nice number of pages in the pack for the price, it will last me forever. I like that it’s self-adhesive sticker paper. I tried using glue to attach and it just got everywhere, it was an ugly mess. There are a bunch of competing products. Many of them don’t work with inkjet printers. Or else they’re more like yellow paper with a sparkly texture. I tried one of those other brands first and returned it, before I finally found this one. Printing black text on this foil with an inkjet printer looks plenty crisp and black enough for me. I let the paper sit and dry for a while after it was printed, just in case, like some other reviewers suggested, but really I found it was ready for use right away and didn’t smear with my finger, not even right out of the printer.

This product was bought to make "golden tickets" for a school production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We needed bright shiny gold..and this product delivered. The color is bright and beautiful and very reflective...it is also only one sided gold and self adhesive with a peel off backing which is a plus depending on your needs. In our case we took identical pieces and peeled the back off and put them back to back to achieve double sided golden tickets. The sheets are the size of a standard 8.5" X 11" piece of paper and fed into our printer with no issues. Be sure you know this is inkjet ink only...laser toner will rub right off!!! I can see using this for many projects and decorative touches..I gave the scrap pieces to a scrabooker and they really thought it was cool to work with in their books. Anybody who needs a beautiful INKJET or liquid ink (like permanent markers) printable reflective gold paper, or planning to use without ink will be very happy this product

WILL NOT WORK WELL WITH A LASER PRINTER. If you must use a laser printer, spray the finished product with a fixative such as Krylon Fixatif, but I've found that the best alternative for me was my Canon Pixma 110 inkjet printer set for glossy paper. Once the ink is fully dry (wait an hour to be on the very safe side) a single coat of fixative spray. The result appears to be quite stable. I cut my labels out with a Canon Scan n' Print and stuck them to black acrylic (1/8") mounting plaques. Very impressive. Aside from not doing well with laser printing (not really a problem, but something you should know before you buy) the only downside is getting the backing removed from the foil. I solved the problem by using a very sharp knife to score about a 1/2" diagonal cut through the backing (but not the foil itself) at one corner and using that score line to peel off the backing. I'd give it 5 stars if it was fool-proof or came with better instructions for those who don't have a Silhouette printing/cutting system. The attached photo is of one of the laser-printed labels that I didn't use, but it gives a very good representation of what the finished result will be with this eye-popping paper.

I've been using this for a couple of years now and have always had great results both as print and cut and for cutting out shapes. The adhesive is strong and the color is rich. Just remember to set the printer for photo and to set the registration marks to 1 mm (default is .5 mm). You can print very detailed images. I printed and cut this copy of the Congressional medal for members of the Civil Air Patrol during WW2. I set the printer to black and white photo, but now I am wondering how printing in color would work on this foil. Stazon ink works well for stamping on it. It's a lovely touch to a card or decoration, and a good value for the price.

I bought these to cut out large alphabets to stick onto a party banner. The results were amazing! The gold color is bright and shiny. Each sheet is thick and really of high quality. The sticker is easy to peel off, and it sticks really well. I can imagine using it for so many other purposes!

Papaer were not usables since was opened and damaged.

I purchased a variety of Silhouette Printable sticker papers here on Amazon. You can't beat Amazon's price for this product. The adhesive paper is thick and made well. I've used this to make stickers for scrapbooking, stationary, cards, and also made planner stickers. The quality of the paper is great. I've been using them with my Cameo cutter and other tools, and it's worked well every time. My only advice for those with die cutting machines, is that you don't follow the suggested blade setting. I use it on a low setting like 1 on my Cameo, and it cuts fine. Anything higher tends to cut right through the paper which isn't great if you're trying to create sticker sheets. I think the suggested setting is fine if you're planning to make individual stickers.

Me llegó dañada una hoja de las 6 que contiene. Tuve que usarlo porque ocupaba entregar un proyecto así que no pude devolverlo. Pero en general funciona bien. No ocupas calor para transferir el foil.

If you happen to own a Sizzix Bigshot, you will be happy to know, that this works great! But, please READ THIS REVIEW CAREFULLY, because there is a bit of a secret to getting this foil to work in your Bigshot machine. It is marvelous for embossing and cutting, but you first need to know the secret, which I will share with you: IMPORTANT: BEFORE YOU RUN IT THROUGH THE MACHINE WITH YOUR DIE (THINLITS WORK GREAT) YOU MUST REMOVE THE BACKING OF THE FOIL AND STICK IT ONTO ANY KIND OF THINNER CARDSTOCK. IF YOU LEAVE THE BACKING ON THE FOIL, THE DIE WILL NOT CUT THROUGH ALL THE WAY. BUT, IF YOU REMOVE THE BACKING AND STICK CARDSTOCK ONTO THE BACK, IT WILL CUT AND IT WILL CUT BEAUTIFULLY. As mentioned above, this foil embosses beautifully and the results are stunning.

Vienen una gran cantidad de láminas en el paquete, pero además las puedes usar en cualquier impresora. Son muy útiles para realizar etiquetas, o bien para recortar y usarlas como adorno dorado. Tienen autoadhesivo detrás, con lo que no hay que preocuparse de cómo pegarlas. Estoy muy satisfecho con la compra.

Questi fogli sono spettacolari. Li ho acquistati per fare delle etichette, si stampa benissimo sopra e non si sbava l'inchiostro. Sono a finitura opaca metallizzata. L'adesivo è forte, li ho utilizzati anche su dei nastrini e non sono caduti, anzi. Ottimi!
