A vocalist in a gilded cage, an unseen hero, & a sweet awakening love so strong it's primal
A Song of Sacrifice (ASOS) isBook 1 in the Season of the Elf trilogy, book 7 in the Fae Guardians series*Not the spice level that the others have had, however plenty steamy with "fore- spice" and absolutely swoonworthy!Lana has done it again!I can't get enough of this world, the mysteries still unfolding, and the twists that keep flipping my theories on their heads. This time is no different, and since Forrest has an affinity with animals like I do, I was already falling in love again.Forrest: unseen, unheard, protector of the other unwanted, sacrificed, duty-bound, the protector & animal advocate, then Elite Guardian, one of the Cadre of 12. He voluntarily sacrifices his last vestige of being an elf, of who he is, becoming scarred, & loses his manna, going undercover to save Rush & Clark's precocious daughter Willow from the clutches of one of the most evil men known to walk Earth, both now and 2000 years in the future, President Nero AKA The Void. When Forrest finds Willow, he also finds the first woman ever to make him rethink celibacy and his vows.Melody: voluptuous, out-of-this world talented musician and vocalist, frozen in a nuclear winter, then thawed out 2000 years in the future into a world of magic, Tainted creatures (fae) and "rescued" by Nero. Placed up high in the elite tower of the steam/diesel punk Crystal City. Though self-confident in the ways of the world, she's also highly encouraged to eat nonstop by keeping all her favorites in front of her at all times, to show her "affluence" which causes her much uncertainty in her attractiveness. Only allowed to visit Nero's secret garden connected to the Well, she's never allowed outside. But this amazing woman will realize she's had enough of the "sit down and shut up" shoved down her throat, and it'll make you cheer out loud! When these two literally run into each other, everything changes. She realizes he's not who he appears to be, and he enlists Melody's help to get Willow from Rory, but doesn't know how to get Rory's attention. Melody begins to teach him how to seduce a woman, but they quickly discover that's the last thing either wants. They both get defiant in their own way.Que all the hurdles Lana's twisted mind can come up with! She always promises an HEA, however getting there is fair game, and she DOES makes the characters work for it! In each story, I 😍☠️🤣🤨😬😏🥵😳😭🤬🥰, and though my heart aches, breaks and heals in one sitting, I RUN and grab the latest addition to the Fae Guardians series, and fall in love with this world, this writing, and these characters all over again. Now go! RUN and grab Forrest and Melody, too!

Truly epic new adventure in one of my favorite worlds!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🍷
A Song of Sky and SacrificeThis book couldn’t have been titled better than that! It gives you a taste test of the very emotional and personal journey of our FMC and the man who would become hers.Only Melody could go out into a Vegas shop during a War for wardrobe shopping for her upcoming show, and wake up 2000 years in the future. The world was a much stranger place, and truly something she never could have imagined. Kept isolated when she wasn’t performing, she is being fed like a turkey on the way to someone’s table and she hates it! Her body is changing in ways she hates and she’s being fed and then forced to feed the Presidents propaganda about the monster Fae to the humans who reside within the walls of Crystal City through her music, and it’s getting harder and harder to force herself to do it.As an Elite Guardian in the Cadre of 12 Forrest would rather be taking care of the animals in the stable that he can connect with than be inside the housing unit with his other brothers in arms, but he has learned to take his moments of peace with a grain of salt, he knows that soon he will be sent out on a mission, one of vital importance. Not only will he be giving up his small moments of peace, but he will also sacrifice his connection with the Well and something that makes him who he is, and he can’t quite shake the feelings that after this mission his life will never be the same.Join Melody and Forrest and all of our old favorites from past books as Forrest ventures into the forbidden world of Crystal City, where nothing is as everyone’s been led to believe…this is truly an adventure that will leave you racing through this extraordinary world, until you turn the very last page!!!!! Run and download this book now!!!!

‘tis the season…
…the season of elves!Okay I love how each season, and each couple takes us to a completely different point in the plot and makes this world bigger and better. We are deep in Crystal City for this one and get the humans side of the story, yet we have even more to come as we get to look at Nero’s closer inner workings.Plus we get the elves stories now and these poor boys are in desperate need of a female’s touch and love.Melody and Forrest were hot! Who knew a woman showing and ‘teaching’ a Viking warrior would be so entertaining. This is a m/f fantasy romance set in a distant future post apocalyptic earth where nature has reclaimed the world and magic has been reborn.I can’t wait for the rest of the stories to come!

Another Great Book by Lana Pecherczyk
This series is great. Book 7 (this book) is the first book in the series of the Elves, and it was one of my favorites! Very sweet and sexy! The great thing about Pecherczyk's series is each of her books in this series have had a different type of H and h that follow different plot line from her previous series books although it keeps with the central overall plot. We are not subjected to the same cookie cutter H/h characters book after book (as some book series do). You will not get bored with the characters and stories as you try to finish the plot line. You could read this as a standalone but you would enjoy this story and series so much better if you started with Book 1, The Longing of Lone Wolves.

Nice addition to the series
I am a huge fan of the whole Guardians seriesThis one is a good addition but not necessarily my favourite. As most of the human female she has a power and barely used it in the book....what the point??Like the fact that she is a plus size heroine it changes from the others but her insecurities is really annoyingThe steamy scenes were maybe a bit less intense because of that.I am still waiting for Cloud's story, I know it won't be soon, but this one is going to be epic!!!

undecided
Oh boy, I’ve been excited about this book for a while but I’m left feeling disappointed? For someone who demolished the first 6 in a week, this one felt rushed and incomplete. As someone’s who’s plus sized I was super thrilled for representation. Though I felt like the fmc personality centred around her insecurities. Like you can be big and comfortable. Then a scene that was teased throughout was nada! No where to be seen *cries*.However, that to be said, I did enjoy the love story.

Amazing
Absolutely loved the book. I thought it was nice bringing on the elves when normally don't hear about them much. Can't wait for the next in the series. Also loving the nit bits on cloud and Rory wonder what's gonna come front that.

Plus Sized Everything!
I’m in love with Melody and Forrest!Melody is a full-figured superstar flung thousands of years into the future, where she’s forced to manipulate gullible humans huddling under the regime of the megalomaniac ’President’.Forrest is an elf who can communicate with animals who has been sent under cover to rescue a child stolen from her parents. When the two meet, it’s instant fireworks! There is so much character in this book—from Melody, the Southern belle, to Forrest, the nervous virgin. Not only will you fall in love with the characters, but Pecherczyk has built a phenomenal world you won’t want to leave!Do yourself a favour though, and read ‘The Longing of Lone Wolves’ before you read this. And the rest of the Fae Guardians books. You can read this as a stand alone, but it’s so much richer with the prior knowledge.Enjoy!

First you take an elf, make him look like a viking, have him be unexperienced in the bedroom but put a little wild inside of him, and give him a special connection to nature and you've got Forrest - the elf that made me jump ship from Team Wolf. The combination of Forrest and Melody was electric. Forrest was naturally suave without coming off as egotistic and Melody was confident without being cringey. Their characters played off of each other! His appreciation of Melody and everything she stood for was so well written and her desire to show Forrest that she cared about him was such a nice back and forth between the characters. This series keeps getting better with each book and I can't wait to see what happens next!#TeamElf
