Perfect bagger for TB Pony 42 inch deck
First, if you're building this on the Troy Bilt Pony 42 inch then follow the instructions for the 700 series.I'm using this bagger on my tractor to cut about a half acre or more. Cutting it down to around 2 inches after a previous trim filled up the bags QUICK. I had to do around 10 trips to empty them before even finishing. I'd start a square and not even realize it was already filled up. It's both a testament to it's effectiveness and a note on additional time and hassle you might encounter. On knowing when they're full, either the blades will tell you (I was wearing ear protection and I could hear it change sounds) or you'll see small clippings be shot out the sides. Just lift the blades and ride the tractor over to wherever you're gonna empty them. The sliding in and out and general clean up is a breeze. Bags fit perfectly in their slots and have a sturdy handle at the bottom to hold the bag as you empty it. I even had to disassemble and assemble it onto my tractor to get rid of clogs (I'll get to this in a sec) about 6 times the day I put it together and it's not hard once you get the hang of it.Dealing with clogs seems to be an issue if the grass is really wet like in the early morning. It seemed no matter how I cut it I was clogging the manifold before it even shot up the tube. I had to wait until the afternoon when the sun had dried the lawn to get it to work right. I saw reviews mention you want the grass a bit wet but I'd definitely say play it safe so you don't have to disassemble it and unclog it.Otherwise great bagger for my Pony, only wish it would've had more capacity but works as it's intended.

Great product
This was a perfect fit for my Craftsman riding mower. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow. I was able to put it together and mount in about 20 minutes. It works great on the lawn and easily picks up the grass. This will make life easier come fall and all the leaves. So far it can easily handle whatever I throw at it.The only complain is that it was missing a few nuts and bolts. One two needed to mount the basket assembly and the other to mount the chute to the mower deck. I found what I needed for for cheap at the local hardware store.

Works well for my 2017 Cub Cadet XT1
Bought this for my 2017 Cub Cadet XT1. It was cheaper than the Cub Cadet version. The assembly is a bit tricky because it includes extra parts for different mowers. I found a very good YouTube video showing the assembly details for a similar model. These instructions helped me get started.Pros- This replaced my 20 year old Craftsman bagger which was solid plastic. Initially I was concerned about the mesh bags; however, I find the mesh allows the clippings to pack more tightly. With my old bagger I needed to stop and compress the clippings with my hand every few minutes. No longer an issue.- The clear clippings tube is great to monitor the flow. Your can easily know if its flowing or if it gets clogged. The clear window in the bagger cover also allows you to know when the bags are getting full without getting off the tractor.- The mower discharge adapter comes on and off easily. This makes for a quick switch between the bagger and mulcher.- The bagger bracket attaches to the tractor towing hole, but the bracket has a towing hole so that you can still tow with the bagger installed.Cons (Just enough to take 1 star off)- The plastic housing above the bags is a bit flimsy. No issues yet, but I wish it was a heaver gauge of plastic.- It's a little awkward to place the bags onto the support rack after you empty them. It takes 2 or 3 tries to get them lined up correctly.- It does not work well with wet grass/leaves but no baggers work when wet.

Works great and easy to assemble.
A few weeks ago it rained for about a week and a half. The grass was tall when it was finally cut that left a heavy layer of clippings that turned brown and looked bad. After reading many of the reviews my husband he decided to buy it. After opening the shipping box, laying out all the parts, then reading the instructions a couple of times, he assembled it in about 15 - 20 minutes without swearing. Everything fit perfectly. He said the trick is to lay out the parts and carefully read the instructions becoming familiar with the task before the actual assembly. Reading the reviews, this seemed to be the cause most people had problems because they were in a hurry to put it together. The first cut the bags filled about 10 times, after a couple of cuttings that dropped down to about 2 fills and the yard looks great. Tip - Due to the design, the left bag fills first then the right bag. If you reach back while cutting and feel that the right bag is just over half full, it is time to empty the bags.

Amazing bagger if you know anything about lawn mowers.
This bagger is amazing. It catches tons of leaves and grass clippings. It's so easy to install I barely needed the instructions. All these folks complaining that grass gets stuck in the tube are using the wrong blades...period.I installed the bagger and ran it with my mulching blades to replicate the issue. Grass will get stuck in the elbow closest to the chute. If you run the mulching or stock blade this is going to happen to every bagger in the world. Change your blades to high lift and problem solved. Changed my blades, ran a few more strips and my yard is pristine and the clippings are neatly contained in this awesome bagger. 10/10 would recommend.Pros:easy to installeasy to disconnect if neededcollects tons of grass and shiteasy to emptyGreat value for the $Cons:I wish the lid was a little more stoutbags could be bigger, but I can do a half acre yard with 4 empties
