Have this on the fireplace mantle for a just in case. Looks good and test it for light and smoke. I was surprised at the amount of light it gives off and no noticeably smoke or odor. Ordered another.

Oil lamp
It's a nice lamp, works just fine, the only issue is the holding bracket is pretty flimsy. Put a wire band on it to keep it secure. The manufacturer might want to include something like that.

Beautiful, functional and perfect for light in a pinch.
The media could not be loaded. I got this for decorative and functional purposes. Growing up for two years we had no electricity and we used oils lamps. Some of my best childhood memories come from that time. This lamp is a reminder of that time. It is small so it won’t burn as long as some bigger ones but it does comes with the wall reflector for mounting and to reflect the light for a brighter room. I have not put oil in them yet so I can not attest to how they do with that. The glass is thick and beautiful. Simple, functional and just enough decoration to make it beautiful. Will update after using as to its operational status and control.

Impressed!
I bought two of these and must say they're worth every penny. They look beautiful but are really well made. I agree with other reviewers though that I wouldn't trust hanging it on the wall as the bracket doesn't seem too sturdy, but for a table lamp I think it's wonderful!

Unsafe braket
This lamp is unsafe.. The bracket that holds the whole lamp up has no tensioner so the lamp can easily fall and break.... What a disaster that would be.... If you see the photo I posted here you can see I added a long screw to hold the breaker right and keep the lamp in place. These sort of things are extremely important to make sure they are safe!!!!

This is a wonderful lamp with a great reflective back plate. Nice to come off the wall and go on a table if needed or walk around
