Pretty good filter for the money
I've ordered Nordic Pure filters for our old HVAC system and the new one we had installed a year ago. The filter seems to be well-made and lasts just as long as the competing brands. One thing I did notice with the new 4" filters I bought was that even though the dimensions are the same as the Honeywell filter in the new system, the Nordic Pure filters were a little shorter. They fit in the system just fine but they don't fit snugly. It's probably not anything to worry about but it was an observation I made.

Perfect fit, good quality, and good price!
Ok, I received this yesterday and it's a perfect fit! I originally went to Home Depot to purchase a 16x25x4 filter for my furnace, but apparently my furnace's exact measurements are 15.5x24.5x3.75, even though the old filter says 16x25x4 on the box (with tiny wording about the exact measurements below which i neglected). So apparently after purchasing my filter from Home Depot it didn't fit. Grr. Luckily Home Depot took the filter back even though it was opened. Anyways, suffice to say Home Depot didn't carry any filters with the exact measurements I needed. I was told to do a special order online. I went online and found they only had 1 at my size. And even then the MERV rating was only a 4. Luckily I found it here at Amazon and they had so many selections. Not only that, but the MERV rating is a 12, sweet. This is perfect since I have very bad allergies and a 2 year old child at home. And the price was much better too. I got two filters for $40 vs. $32 for 1 at Home Depot. And delivery was super fast. I don't have Amazon Prime, so I selected the free super saver delivery late Monday night and I got it Thursday. I guess living in Seattle helps. :). I'm a little worried about the filter having such a high MERV rating though because I've read from people's comments that having a high MERV rating made their furnace work harder. I'll tell you how it goes 3 months from now. Crossing fingers.

not 4 inches as adverstised
The outside of the box says 4 inches but they are only 3 5/8s do not fit air cavity correctly. I would not buy again.

Not as wide as the Honeywell brand.
Is not a snug fit as the Honeywell brand, the width is missing like 3/4 of an inch. Everything else seems to be well.

Great quality
We are very pleased these filters. The filters came highly recommended and didn't disappoint, they fit and appear to be of good quality and well built.

Not a comparable fit
Well this is a filter and the size approximates what will fit into my furnace, it definitely isn't a snug fit. That's absolutely critical for a filter to function properly.The original April air filters have a few of useful features.One is that it flexes with wise to perfectly fit the filter box.On a related note, it has special notches on either side in order to hug the sides of the box.And then the height is just perfect for the original filter.An interesting thing as well is that the original filter for mine is actually more like 28 in high even though it's listed as 25 in high. As a result this Nordic aftermarket filter is actually short for the application.Given the cost of a furnace, this isn't $20 that I want to try to save.

Fits my Carrier Infinity Electrostatic Air Purifier Perfectly
Just ordered this after enquiring with a couple local Hvac companies as well as hitting up Home Depot and Lowe’s... Neither HD or Lowe’s had this size in stock and the cheapest Factory Carrier filters from the Hvac companies were $180 each!!! (And they weren’t Merv 15).So after measuring my filter cabinet I took a chance on these. AWESOME! They arrived a day early, they fit like a glove, came in a two pack that makes them less than half the price of a Carrier Factory filter.Very happy with this product so far, and excited to see how well the Merv 15 help the sire quality.
