Works well with my new head unit install
I installed this with all my Idoing head unit I purchased for my 2017 Subaru Outback. This cable allowed me to use the the built-in USB ports located in the storage area under the climate controls.

Perfect Fit to Adapt USB to Idoing Android Head Unit
Perfect fit to adapt the stock USB port on a 2012 Subaru WRX over to an aftermarket head unit. I used this on a Idoing 9"Android Radio Head Unit For Subaru Forester WRX 2008-2014 PPP2299. Must go into the single USB port not the double port in the Idoing.

Works good.

Does the job, fitting is a little loose
This adapter let me use my OEM USB port with an aftermarket head unit, as intended. My only complaint is that the fit is a little bit loose, which is concerning when this thing lives in the rat's nest of cables crammed inside of your dash. You can always just tape it up with electrical tape, but it would be nice if it had a reassuringly snug fit, so as not to come loose while driving over potholes.

Works as intended
Used on a 2011 Subaru Forester that just had an aftermarket android radio installed. It was plug and play and compatibly was good. USB functionality was restored through the OEM port

Not good for Android Auto
It allows you to retain the original USB port, but it's a thin cable and kind of cheap (the connector housing slides off the metal part with regular use). That being said, adding this (thin) cable in line with the OEM cable makes Android Auto very unstable, so -at least in my case- it's a waste of money. If you are considering this cable after installing an aftermarket radio, you are probably better just replacing the USB port altogether.

I’d give it 5,000 stars if I could
Used on a 2013 Legacy with HK and no nav. Fit is snug, high quality, worked right away. Was able to connect the USB port in the center console to my new pioneer head unit. Wired CarPlay and other features work seamlessly.

Works but not very high build quality
It works connecting the original USB ports to my new aftermarket head unit, but the build quality is not high. The connector head was already twisted a little when it arrived. Not sure how long it will last.
