These lights are hard to find as replacements for halogen. I was extremely pleased with the build quality, shell is aluminum and completely waterproof. Light is extremely bright, exact duplicate of a halogen. Awesome light. I replace all my par 36 well lights with these.UPDATE: These have been in place for 3 months (through extreme cold temps) and they are performing like champs! These are by far the best lights out there.

These Par 36 are excellent!!! Easy to install, fit my housings perfectly, easy to install with Phillips screws, bright, the right color and width of beam! Very happy with my choice at the right price and fast shipping. Highly recommend!!!!!☆☆☆☆☆☆!

Durable and bright. I've had these installed for almost 5 months. No failures or problems. They routinely get rained on and the sprinkler system hits them... no leaks, no failures. Super bright. They are Daylight color temp, as stated...

Bright but still soft color, blends nicely with other par36 halogen lights. Great price. Will buy more when halogens die.

BRIGHT replacement for well lights --- Illuminates the entire trunk and canopy of 20'-30' Ash trees... Also nicely illuminates a two-story brick facade of a french door entrance. Highly recommend. Would say it is indeed a 100 Watt equivalent, and looks to be 3000K. Very well made bulb all around.

I was looking for an extra-bright PAR36 LED light that would fit my fixture. Other bulbs I checked weren't as low profile as the typical halogen bulb, and my fixture couldn't accommodate their length. This one fit, and is indeed brighter than the 50w bulb it replaced.

I received 4 of these bulbs to replace my Par36 halogen sealed beam bulbs of which these are touted as a replacement for. I emphasize "SEALED". The specs state "Waterproof". Of course, they are a replacement for outdoor bulbs. Think again. The first evening one was out already. This product is wrongfully described and frankly should not even be on the market. It should at least equal the specs of it's replacement. "SEALED Beam" since it is a replacement for them and states outdoor use. I've had my other halogen bulbs for 18 years and have only replaced three out of four of them in that time frame after being on every single night dusk to dawn never experiencing such a ridiculous problem. The labor is intensive for me to remove and replace these so I am of course ticked beyond ticked. On top of that, Amazon can't just replace it. I have to go through hoops to get a credit then reorder it. Is this the new world order between a crappy product and crappy service, however I do like them when they work.

I ordered 2 of these. One didn’t work out of the box. I contacted them and they sent a replacement light very quickly.Easy to install.

Parmida says that this bulb is NOT dimmable, while this posting says it is dimmable. The seller was completely uncooperative when I asked to confirm whether it was dimmable - just saying "it is what it is". If you want dimmable, go somewhere else.
