They installed well and work well. I made foam rubber gaskets for a face mount of the six brackets to eliminate scratching the paint over time. They fit well and look great. The price was good for these running boards.

Installation went smoothly with no issues. I was overly cautious in actually getting started so it took me longer than it should have - close to 3 hours. I could have done it in two if I just dove into it. As others have stated, make sure you have a deep 13 mm socket for this. I scrubbed the studs a little with a wire brush to remove paint, but it didn't seem to matter that much. I was able to install them without elevating the truck, although it was tough to get a good angle on the screws to do the final tightening once the running boards were installed. Boards look great installed and support my 250+ lbs with no noticeable flex. I'm very pleased with the value so far.

Box condition was great. No flaws on product. Mounted easily. Took a chance on weight capacity when I ordered. I’m 260 and no noticeable deflection when I stood on it.

Beautiful, sturdy running boards. Beats the heck out of $800 at the dealership!! I put mine on a 2019 RAM 1500 Crew Cab. Fit great. As mentioned by other folks reviewing, the mounting studs are already on the frame under the doors. Easy to install if you are handy with tools at all. A friend helping would make it even easier. I took the advice of several folks and took a wire brush on a drill to the studs to get the galvanized coating off. This makes it MUCH easier to install the running boards. Some folks reported rusting on the chrome. I did not experienced this. I did put a really good coat of paste wax on them after installing. I've had them on now for over a month and get compliments on how good they look on the RAM. And the wife loves them because she doesn't have to jump in and out of the truck. And I saved over $600 by not having the dealership but their sucky looking ones on! :)

Boards look great. Install was pretty easy given the location, but for the very last bolt I installed on the drivers side bar, the insert immediately broke loose and the bolt just spun. I had a heck of a time getting the bolt back out of the spinning insert and my install finished one bolt short so hopefully the five bolts hold up well. That far into the install I didn't really want to mess with a return.

The size is 8mm - 1.25. I took my time and read the instructions which were very easy to undersand. I was very careful not to scratch the stainless. They went on very easily in about 2 hours. they really made my 2021 Dodge Ram Laramie look very good. There was some question about fitment. The rails I purchased fit dodge Ram 1500. The Laramie package is only available on Dodge Ram 1500 and it's not available on Dodge Classic. If you have a Laramie, you have a Ram 1500 line. I highly recommend these side rails. Here's the installation procedure. Clean bolts and install brackets (all brackets are identical so you don't have to worry about which one) with flat washer and nylon lock nuts, loosely. Install rails with bolts loosely. Tighten bracket nuts. Tighten rail bolts. Done! Thanks

Product was as described, nice shiney stainless running boards. Got the 5” version and they look real nice on my new Ram Laramie. It was what my truck was needing. Easy to mount, had them on in about an hour. Just make sure you have a deep well 13mm socket handy. Wife can now get into the truck. Well worth the money.

The boards arrived with no mounting hardware or instructions! Now I have to go through the trouble of returning them. If there was a contact seller option (could not find one) I would have requested the hardware and hoped that they stood behind their product. Very disappointed.(Revised 7/22/22022) In fairness and kudos to TAC. They did send me an email within a day asking which parts were missing, and that they would be replaced. It turns out that the hardware was shipped in a second box. The hardware box arrived 5 days after the running boards arrived, even though both boxes were shipped on the same day. I confirmed on the labels. It was a shipping issue, not a TAC issue. The hardware fit perfectly; the running boards do look great. A note in the product description about the 2nd box and timing could have saved us both time and effort. My apologies.
