Superior to its successors
Edit 2021-12-26: this review is for SN 54045 (Wide) - also minor modifications. I searched wide and far for replacement to my current 54045 pair. None to be found. If Skechers brings this back, I'll buy 10. Or maybe they can suggest another GoWalk that is identical or close to the 3. I tried this product and another more recent design (Go Walk 4.) This one is superior to the 4. Reasons: This is the most comfortable and practical slip-on I've ever had. The cloth/fabric top is very breathable, never causing sweat in moderate temperature. The fact that the cloth connects to the sole without a stiffer wall is great, as it makes it feel more natural, and as an extension of the foot: definitely adds to comfort. The fit is snug - perfect for my feet. It remains comfortable in prolonged wear and walking. The insole material - the gogamat I think - never feels sweaty/damp: very breathable. The cloth top is also very breathable. The fact that there is no elastic strip as part of the top is excellent: it stays close to the foot. The best part of the design are the dots. Each dot is fully independent to respond to the weight, providing the most natural feel. We walk with varied pressure/weight on each part of the foot. I was actually able to see where I apply more pressure from the wear on the dots. My pair is falling apart yet is still comfortable to wear. This beats having one solid, thick sole no matter the treads. The build quality is fantastic. When the top gets dirty, I simply wash the pair in the sink with some detergent. I add some Clorox to brighten the colors. The closest feeling to walking barefoot.

Wow, just wow!!
I just have to review these shoes because they are so uniquely comfortable. I love the extra wide fit that is perfect for my wide feet. They are so light weight you can hardly tell you are wearing them until you take a step. It's that step that will blow your mind. Talk about comfort - and I mean unbelievable comfort. You really do have to walk in them to believe just how comfortable they are. Their is nothing else like them. Nothing else compares to them. In fact, they are so light weight and so comfortable, and durable, that I am ordering a second pair to wear as house shoes. Not only are these perfect shoes to run around in, they also make better and more comfortable house shoes then anything else that you can find on the market. No kidding, when you slip these on all you'll be able to do is ease out a comforting sigh and say wow, just wow.

Very good shoes but some odd noises from the bottoms
Took me a bit to get used to them, and after several weeks of them being the only shoes I wear, I still have some interesting times. Moving from wearing boat shoes with no support at all regularly. Base are 15 round knobs and 18 oblong knobs on the base of a very soft rubber. (9-1/2 size, your count may vary!) Balance for me was odd. The knobs move and with my height (about 6'3") and the extra inch these add might affect the balance. Some is just the movement of the knobs when walking, and I have heard a LOT of very odd squeaks from my shoes depending one the surface. Occasionally, I'll even get a "pop" like a suction cup being freed. The knobs really don't look like suction cups but they must occasionally act like it. Overall, the shoes are comfortable. Not sure about arch support if you're coming from a more supportive shoe than I was. For me, they're a good move to a bit of arch support but not bending my feet in ways they just aren't used to. Sole is soft and "squooshy" so they've very comfortable on my feet. With the solid black, they look good on my feet and don't really stand out in an office type environment. (Not saying these would work at a black tie dinner by any stretch!) Some wear obvious athletic shoes and these are not obvious. I've been very happy with the shoes and very glad I purchased them. They look good, fit great and give me some support which is what I was looking for.

Extremely light, perfect for airport security, great walking shoes with a semiformal look.
Wow these are light. They slip on easily. Seems like they will lack durability though (we'll see). They are a great balance for business casual workplaces. Very comfortable. I wish the heel portion were a bit more raised and thick though. Update. After a month of having these, I can't believe I'm saying this, but they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I also can't believe how well they fit with no laces and slip on. Are you kidding me? For the price, this is in my top 10 buys ever off of amazon. My concerns about the heel so far are unfounded. The design which I thought was iffy because I had never seen anything like it appears to be genius. There's no thick cloth to rub or wear out like what happens with regular "tennis" shoes. But the stitched in padding is just the right amount and appears to be very durable. The insoles are like walking on that springy stuff at kids playgrounds (but less thick). If you force me to find a negative, they squeak a bit in workplace setting flooring. lol. I had to stretch for that weakness. Amazing job Skechers.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE. Make larger women's sizes please!
These shoes saved my feet! This is the 4th pair of Go Walks I have had and I recently went back to school and have to walk around campus. I was wearing my old ones but decided I needed a new pair. The Go Walk 3's are even better than my old ones. I feel like I am walking on air. I have to get the men's sizes because I have a bigger foot than they carry in women's sizes so I stick to black/blue/brown but I sure would like to be able to get the women's in all those cute colors and if they made cute sandals, this might be the only brand of shoes I ever bought Over 3 years ago I developed excruciating Achilles tendonitis and plantar fasciitis and it hurt so much to walk especially in the morning getting out of bed. I used Crocs because they were so soft to my feet but still had pain. Doctors told me to wear a night boot and put lifts and inserts into my shoes. It was taking forever to heal and really didn't with that other stuff. But earlier this year I began eating healthy and lost lots of weight. I wore my GO walks all the time when it wasn't snowing. The condition went away very quickly once I began detoxing from the junk and processed foods. Honestly wishing the first week the pain was getting better and gone by week 2! When spring and it was time to wear flip flops I put on my Crocs and even though they were comfortable, they did not provide the support in the arch and cushion like my Go Walks. I bought Vionic Sandals for summer but these are my go to shoes for almost everything and every time else.

Omgoodness!!! Its like walk on air!!
First I will put out there that I am a women, I wear a size 12 in women and have a very wide foot 😖 so meedless to say that buying shoes is impossible!! I always have to purchase mens tennis shoes when I work in manuel labor jobs...I did fine a pair of loafersfrom payless shoes size 12 wide and hey what do you know!!! They actually fit perfect, so perfect that I would purchase 2 at a time because they are the only shoes I own 😁 ...but then I got the bad news that payless shoes are going out of business 😩 ...The hunt for a shoe was on again!! I found these only because I was watching you tube and they advertised this walking shoe, I went to the womens first in hopes 🙏 they would have my size, but of course they didn't, and over to the mens section I went as usual 😡 ...But I found these right away!! 😀 I received them today, and was praying Lord please let these fit! And Wha la!! They fit perfect 😳!! And Omgoodness!!! They are the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever owned!!! I feel like Im walking on air! And they are low, which I prefer, I hate high feeling tennis shoes...anyway, needless to say I am very happy with my purchase and I will update in a couple of weeks how they are holding up...I did buy these specifically for walking...I would reccomend these to anyone looking for a very comfortable walking shoe.

Great shoe, true to size
I used the same work shoes for the last 2 and a half years and the wife said it was time to give it up. So I searched for all black comfortable work shoes(my job requires all black no visible logos). I came across these Go Walk 3, and at first I was like “no way” (mostly because I’m a sneakerhead and these are Skechers). The moment I got them instantly smelt the new shoe smell it was perfect. I tried it on and it was perfect fit. Also the shoe gave me an extra inch in height. I have been wearing them for 2 weeks at work and I already feel better, my knees don’t hurt, my back hurts less, and most of all my feet don’t feel like it just went through a sauna. Only thing I would change is the back of the shoe is very flimsy. I prefer a more solid back part of the shoe.

The inner sole material and the bottom sole both feel wonderful, and I love the idea of a light ...
Frank here; also on the Prime account. I've purchased 5 pr of Go Walk 3's....both slip on's and laced sneakers. The inner sole material and the bottom sole both feel wonderful, and I love the idea of a light shoe. So why only 3 stars? For starters, I'm not sure about the durability of this shoe, or the lace up's I've purchased. On that score, only time will tell. Beyond that, people's complaints about the shoes feeling hot on the foot....gotta agree. At first I thought those reviewers were crazy, but after wearing these a few hours, I do feel my feet getting hot and sweaty. Not sure why this is the case (probably the material used), but it's definitely noticeable. So I dinged the shoes 1 star for this. My bigger issue is that the shoes feel tight on the top of my foot...not sure of the techy shoe-talk terminology, but the top of my foot does feel compressed, and when I take the shoes off, I can see the markings on the top of my foot. Maybe the shoe just needs to be a bit deeper??? I've probably driven Amazon crazy by trying different sizes and styles, returning and exchanging, but given that I've bought 10 pr of shoes over the past few months, I think that's a problem Amazon can live with. In any event, as comfy as these shoes are (or can be), sizing is definitely a problem. As a final thought, I really wish Skechers would make the Go Walk 3 in a relaxed fit model. That might solve all problems, as the Relaxed Fit styles DO fit me better, yet the Go Walks feel better in terms of the material. Until then, though, I'll live with both styles, and despite the relatively mediocre 3 star rating both types of Skechers are still the best bet I've found for my old aching feet!
