Please click on Helpful at the bottom of this review if what I wrote is useful to you.This is a cheap plastic lens made in China that I expect to break at any time. BUT...it's the price of just two trips to Starbucks, and it hasn't broken yet.You need to have a super steady hand for this, because any jiggly movement of your hand gets magnified 10 times. If you put it on the zoom lens of the iPhone Plus models, it's magnified 20 times. It's worth shooting while propping your phone up against a wall or your car, etc. to help steady your hand. But that's just part of it.So here's what else you do: First, you attach this lens carefully because the smallest misalignment will result in part of your photo being blacked out. Then you shoot in Burst Mode. That's where you just hold down the shutter and the camera rattles off 10 frames a second. Shoot for 5-10 seconds, which will yield 50-100 photos. Go through them and select the one or two that aren't shaky. Problem solved.The resulting photo is a bit soft, but on your phone that won't be noticeable. But I recommend you use one of the many free apps to sharpen it up just a tad.The sample photo here was taken some distance from Sandy Hook Light in New Jersey, and captured the top of the structure very well.You can't have much more fun for $10.00 than with this lens.

Arrived in open box. It is junk. I definitely got what I paid for, for only 9 bucks and change.. It will not stay on my 6s clip too small.too weak. the lenses plastic threads must be some kind of proprietary cut.. lens will not go on any of my other clips which are much stronger. focusing ring is junk. Focus ring jams up and will not follow thru to full focal distances. This causes clip to rotate lens axis out of position This lens in my opinion was falsely advertised as a "Zoom" lens. It definitely is not. a Zoom lens which is another word for a variable focal length lens. This is a fixed focal length lens "telephoto"...barely...I'm looking for a true variable focal length "Zoom" lens for cell phones..not a fixed.lens... zoom as to roll camera wide and zoom in to close up kind of lens

Cumbersome and almost useless. Camera zoom gets same results. Works better as portable telephoto, but just marginally. Save your money.

My husband bought it for me because I take pictures with my iPhone. There have been times that I have wanted to get a closer picture of a subject from across the street. Playing around with it I’m able to get very detailed with something across the room., such as you can see each individual hairr on the dog or the details of flower. I haven’t had a chance to catch a bird in flight, yet. The lens itself, has to be perfectly centered and it’s easy to get it off center. This could be because I have only used it over my iPhone case.

Really hard to steady so the quality is kinda poor from all the jitters, would probably work better with a phone stand. The Lens by itself is fantastic and lots of fun to take pictures with, I bought it so I could take pictures of my pet birds and animals from a distance without them noticing. It's only as good as the quality of your phone camera obviously, and a little less from the movement, so don't expect good quality pictures, just closer pictures.Pretty much how I expected, had lots of fun with it

Wonderfully clear pictures. Make sure to perfectly align the zoom lens with the camera lens, then adjust your focus. Once you do, you'd be amazed at how crisp the pictures you get from your cell phone camera can be.Be warned, it is difficult to steady your phone with the zoom lens attached. Make sure you have the ability to securely hold it/brace it with your second hand.

First, the way the lens was shipped it seems like it was crushed during shipment as the box was all bent. Second, there is no mention anywhere about how the lens would or could integrate with cases. Nowadays, everyone, almost everyone has cases. This lens would not work with certain cases, or all cases on the phone. It's a drag to have to remove it. And third, once case was removed and camera lens installed, pictures are not what they get advertised as. They are somewhat blurry, or comes out with a dark corner on the picture, no matter how much you try to adjust it. This is really not what I was expecting.

I have been using this for a few months now on my IPhone 7 what an amazing piece of kit. I must say I am impressed but you do really need to have a steady hand.

Big piece of junk

poorly made, hard to attach to the phone and it produces a sub quality picture.
