From packaging to speaker, everything is top notch as I’ve experienced with all JBL products. It exceeds expectations and I expected a lot given the high price tag. I got it on sale around Christmas or I wouldn’t have been able to afford it. For those that can, just buy it, you won’t be disappointed. This thing is a freaking beast- big, heavy, and very well made. I listen to heavy bass EDM music and hoped the bass would suffice. The bass is phenomenal, very impressive for a speaker this size and very clear and well balanced. There’s an equalizer in the JBl app but I prefer the Spotify equalizer, it has more adjustability. I could go on and on about the speaker but to summarize- just buy it, you’ll be impressed.

Super expensive but sounds great! I don't regret buying it at all. But it is way more expensive than it needs to be. Battery life lasts about 3 hours when cranked up all the way. The best thing is that you can continue to use it while it is plugged in. It is waterproof and does float. Anytime it gets dirty i just rinse it off. But beware it will continue to drain water out of it for hours so don't set it on a surface that it will ruin after you get it wet. Sound quality is very good. Bass is strong and it is very loud. If I am in the garage with the doors closed you can here it in the street so don't under estimate it. Also you have to use the app to set it up which was kinda of dumb but it does allow you to tweak the sound which was a very nice feature. you will notice though it lags a bit when connecting when you turn it on and when it disconnects when you shut it off which is no big deal but definitely can be improved upon. Over all for a portable speaker system there isn't really anything out there that can touch this for sound quality, durability or how loud it can go while still have clarity. This is probably why JBL charges a serious premium for it. You will also notice it does have some weight to it so it is not something you would want to carry around all day. I also notice it does improve the sound a bit if you leave it plugged in while using it is you are going to listen to it real loud. If you buy it, you wont regret it. I sure don't. I use it very frequently to the dismay of my neighbors

Okay, this beast is heavy. It is big. But... It is loud! It has a nice loudness to it, it doesn't struggle to play loud, so I love it for music in a noisy setting at work when I need music to help me focus and get the job done. For some reason I need to pair anew almost every time - my Pixel 9 XL remembers every device except this one. And pairing is kind of slow. But that's Bluetooth, I suppose. Otherwise, it runs almost four hours on a charge at volume levels that are really - wow -impressive.I will say, I upgraded from a Flip 5 which is loud for its size, but not nearly loud enough. This is huge, but at least it is loud enough. Not something you'll take on an airplane ride to listen at your destination like the Flip, though!

This thing is really loud and I love it. I have a smaller one that I use for in the house but this one is great for going on the boat or out camping. It is a bit expensive but worth it in my opinion especially if you can get it on sale.

The media could not be loaded. I have owned several of the JBL speakers but this is definitely the monster of them all. Very heavy duty, waterproof, looks great. It keeps a charge for a very long time, has Bluetooth. You can listen to it while it’s charging. It’s great for pool parties even sounds the whole house, very easy to connect the Bluetooth together.

Had this on my wish list for over a year! I have a Jeep Wrangler TJ that needed a sound-system upgrade. I wrestled with idea of spending $700 for new head-unit, amp, subwoofer, and all four speakers... BUT, if I did, I knew the music would be limited to only the Jeep.So I figured, for less money (i.e. $500 for Boombox), I could not only have improved sound-system in the Jeep, but could also take it with me wherever I go. The question was... would the sound be worth it (or adequate) in the Jeep?When I saw the price drop a $100, I decided to finally pull the trigger. Upon arrive I immediately took it out to the Jeep and set it in the back (without the rear seat), turned her on, and played Kid Rock's "American Bad Ass". Holy crap!! I was so glad I got the Boombox! Sounds really, really, good. Not going to blow any windows... but the bass really hits well. Especially in an enclosed space like the back of a Jeep TJ. Plus now I can take it with me wherever I go.For added security, I also purchased a heavy-duty bike lock which I run through the metal handle on the Boombox, and around one of the roll-bars. Works great! (Also built little wooden stand out of 1"x2" boards to stabilize so Boombox doesn't roll around while driving.)Highly recommend.
