I'd already bought a regular Switchbot thermometer and a hub mini to control an electric heater via the Samsung smartthings app and to be able to monitor temperatures and humidity levels remotely. It worked perfectly and the app gave detailed historical temperature and humidity graphs, live readings and much more via the hub.I bought the meter plus (and a hub mini) for my elderly father to control his electric radiator (his main source of heating) and it enables me to keep him comfortable and for him to be more energy efficient.The meter plus is easy to read (being larger than the regular meter) and is shaped with a slight taper to assist viewing further still. The readings are accurate and can be calibrated if desired.The additional 'comfort' icons on the display are useful. These show on both the meter and the app. I've also linked the meter plus to Google Home and Samsung Smarthings with ease (via the Switchbot Hub).Without the hub the meter plus will still link to the app when it's in Bluetooth range but the hub opens up a world of opportunities.The whole Switchbot range is well thought out and easy to use and I'd highly recommend.

I am a fan of the switchbot ecosystem and this temprature/humidity sensor makes a great additon to my switchbot setup.The display is nice and large making it very easy to read from a distance. There is a smiley face which alerts you to the 'comfort level' within the monitored room. The device is app controlled and you will need a hub if you want to control/view this outside of the bluetooth range. I have this installed in my loft to monitor my solar PV inverter, a quick check of my phone now lets me know what temprature my loft is at and if i need to switch on a fan to cool things down.Great device - works well

Like a lot of people I’m sure, my thermostat is in one part of the house and I wanted to make sure that I was keeping an eye on temperatures in the rest of the house, so I bought a few of these for different rooms. They’re very easy to set up with a hub mini and work well. They’re also easy on the eye and the wallet.Next step for me is to build some automations using Google home to trigger the heat to come on if a certain room is too cold at a certain time.Would recommend

I must say I'm impressed with Switchbot. They constantly listen to customer feedback and this gadget is the perfect example to that. With the previous thermometer there were a few issues (e.g.: it was difficult to read the screen), but they fixed them in this new product. Now it is perfect tool for measuring temperature and humidity, connecting it with your smart home, automating tasks, making it a perfect and essential part of your home. I love how easy it is to setup, and integrate with your smart home. It has a large screen, and it is easy to install it to anywhere as it comes with a magnetic tape as well as it has a "leg" to make it stable when it stands on its own. In terms of accuracy, it seems fine, similar to my other thermometers, with slightly off values, but not much.

I have 8 previous generation Switchbot thermometer/hygrometers dotted around the house and I love them. When I saw this newer, larger, easier-to-read version, I had to have one. I certainly wouldn’t replace all of them because the smaller one has it’s place being a much neater unit, and they don’t always have to be read at a distance.I had a little trouble connecting it to my Swithbot mini-hub. It wouldn’t connect initially and in fact I raised a ticket with Switchbot support to which I am still awaiting a response.But I tried again and noticed the app saying it was searching for bluetooth devices and had found a “meter plus”. When I clicked on that, it connected straight away.So there remains some work to be done in the app to offer the option to connect a meter plus, because the existing option to connect a meter doesn’t work with this newer “plus” meter.It is much larger with larger and significantly clearer numerals, so I’m pretty pleased with it.I hope Switchbot retain the original smaller meter, because it does exactly the same job and if you only need to read it close up, or indeed via the app or Alexa, it’s perfectly adequate and looks neater on the wall.

Honestly impressed with these, quality is excellent they look and feel more premium then you would expect. Accuracy can be adjusted to ensure they are all aligned but they are accurate out of the box.With the hub they can we synced for quicker readings from the app and storage in the cloud of historic temp / humidity data. Works well with Alexa.

Got more features than expected. If you want to get the data thru wifi (ex: monitor from another location) you need to buy one of their hub (which I already had for another device)

These little thermometers are amazing. The app … is still in development, perhaps, there are some rough corners, but there’s been an upgrade this year, and now you can see temperature, relative humidity, absolute humidity, dew point, and something called vapor-pressure deficit on screen (on the app; the unit itself still only shows temp and RH). I’ve got temperature and humidity records going back over a year on the device I bought .. well, over a year ago, and these little things are so handy that I bought the two-pack to add extra rooms to my data. The units take up very little space, but are easily readable from ten feet away (assuming you have a light source; there is no backlight, so you need to be able to *see* the screen, but a backlight would be troublesome 99% of the time, so it makes sense that there isn’t one), and the battery on the one I bought over a year ago is still at about half charge. And that’s the battery it came with. For the cost, these are the best room thermometers I’ve ever owned.Also of note, this system is entirely modular: you can add as many devices and rooms as you wish, labeling and grouping them all however you want, and while these units on their own can’t do it, the company sells a hub device that you can pair with Alexa so your system can tell you temperatures (and presumably other data) when you ask. I’ve not invested in this, so I can’t tell you how well it integrates, or how easy it is to set up, or anything other than that it exists. But perhaps another reviewer can provide that information.I love these little thermometers. The data gremlin in me wishes I needed more, just so it could enjoy more data and more graphs. The app… is a little rough sometimes, but most of my difficulties, I think, stem from having *so much data* on my older unit, that it slows things down sometimes. But only for that device: the other two are little speed demons. I could wish for more customization: you can swap C or F, metric or imperial units for other things, toggle the secondary humidity graphs visible or not. I’d like to be able to reorder the graphs, change the colors maybe, little things. But everything works very well, I’ve never had a problem with the bluetooth connection, even from a few rooms away, the units themselves have done everything I could have ever wanted them to. I am 100% happy with these.
