Star Wars The Black Series Elite Praetorian Guard

Hasbro generally does a good job with troopers and helmeted figures, but the Elite Praetorian figure might just set a new standard. This figure is gorgeous. I really love the design of these Praetorian guards. The hearken back to the rich red of the Imperial Royal Guards in Return of the Jedi without simply copying that design. Hasbro did justice to that design. The detailing is very good, with subtle work on the armor. What really surprised me is the articulation. The skirt is flexible enough to let the legs move in any direction. And the arms can actually bend almost 90 degrees, despite the fact that the ridged design seems like it would inhibit movement. That's better than the standard First Order Stormtrooper! (you might have to make sure that all three pieces that make up the arm are aligned to get a full bend). I especially appreciate the fact that the joints are almost invisible.My only complaint is a general one about the Black Series line. Hasbro has to get better quality control. My figure came with small black paint drops on the back of the skirt. It certainly wasn't enough to ruin the figure, but that's simply not acceptable in a collector's line.Overall, I'm really liking this figure. I'm definitely excited to see these Praetorian guards in action in the final film.

This six inch or 1:12 scale Amazon exclusive version of the intriguing and mysterious Praetorian Guard, part of Hasbro's Star Wars: The Black Series line of action figures, is another excellent example of the Praetorian Guards in figure form. In addition to the impressive in scope heavy blade weapon, he also comes with the sword which looks to already be iconic Praetorian Guard imagery. The arm articulation can be a bit tricky to discover at first, but there is a nice amount of articulation hidden in the armor design (which is usually considered a plus by fans, articulation hidden by the fabric folds or other elements of the design). A worthy addition to a Star Wars Black Series or similar collection.

Excellent sculpt. The figure appears very accurate to promo shots from the upcoming film. Only downside is the restricted articulation at the elbow joint as a result of the armor design.

A really great figure and an interesting design for the character. The arms are a bit tough to find the elbow joint, but it is there. You just have to be certain to get it turned correctly in order to bend at the elbow.Very striking figure. Lets hope that they have an interesting role in the upcoming movie.

Gave this to my son for Christmas. He really liked it. Said it was cool and looked better than the picture. Came on time and packaged well. Would recommend to any Star Wars fan.

Looks nice but posing it is terrible. Hardly any articulation, but figure really looks nice. It is just a poser.

Muy buena figura, la articulación de los brazos es un tanto limitada, tienes que encontrar el punto de la flexión donde tiene la armadura flexible para poder doblarlos y aun así no tienen mucho movimiento. Hay que asegurarse que step bien posicionada ya que puede venir movida de fábrica y si intentas doblarlo se puede romper. Fuera de eso la figura es excelente. Una versión moderna del guardia imperial. Está el version estándar, hay otro que es exclusivo de amazon y el tercer estilo no lo consigues mas que en una edición especial y con la falda de tela. Lo único que cambia entre este y la edición exclusiva de amazon es la cabeza y las armas. Si solo vas a adquirir uno el otro es más atractivo visualmente y trae mejores armas.

La figure è molto curata nei dettagli, con una buona alternanza di materiali tra gomma e plastica.La pittura è perfetta, come anche le articolazioni, che però, a differenza delle altre figure della linea, non del tutto snodabili.Nel complesso una buona figure, consigliata ai collezionisti.Unica nota negativa è il prezzo, forse un po’ alto rispetto alla media.

Jouet de très bonne manufacture. Les articulations permettent de mettre en forme selon les différentes photos proposées. Les articulations genoux et coudes sont un peu rigides à cause des l'armure elle même, mais ca passe si on s'y prend doucement. Un plus, les pieds sont articulés, se qui permet également de bien positionner le personnage au contact du support, pour une bonne tenue.Franchement pour un jouet, il fait très bon office au milieu de mes statuettes et autres figurines.
