Solid with a smooth finish.
This is much nicer in appearance than needed but my wife has a little Jeep Renegade that she keeps sparkling and I got this for the eye-bolt that would be used in the event that she needed to be winched from a snowbank or whatever. (even though it would ride in the spare tire area and never be seen) it is well made and she is pleased. ... insert laughing emoji here.
