Likes: The steps for setup are few, and easy to do, -intuitive even-, after downloading the app and registering your email account to it. The link from its cloud control "Cloud Intelligence" to Alexa is also very simple to establish inside the Alexa app and is reliable. It only works with 2G Wi-Fi, which is what you would want anyway due to the distance and wall penetration superiority over 5G Wi-Fi. I programmed a box full of these and labeled them with my Alexa controlled names. I like having them at the ready for quick deployment later as needed.Dislikes: Another unique smart device vendor app! I have five or six, maybe a dozen, separate apps for all the "smart" vendor products I've deployed on my property. Alexa rules them all though, so no biggie until time to reprogram or rename them. I should probably label with the controlling app name too. These look identical to competing vendor's products, which were on backorder when I bought this product.

Ease of installation, have to read the manual before installing. Gets connect to Amazon Alexa very easily. Love this product

Do not trust what they write in other reviews. These plugs are a nightmare, the most hideous devices I've ever bought. All others work with SmartLife and are immediately recognised (when the phone is switched to the 2.4gz wifi network previously, just for the initial connection). These ones are not recognised by that app, whilst all others are. These ones have a tiny manual for which you need a magnifying lense. They want you to download a chinese proprietary app and register, I mean, are you kidding me? Otherwise, they offer another possibility, a skill that you can find in the Alexa app that actually belongs to them and, once again, you have to download their app (named "cloud intelligence", fyi) and register. I don't want any registrations, to avoid especially that, "intelligence" spying on me. I've spent one hour with this piece of trash, whereas with the others it's a matter of 30 seconds. Returning this. DO NOT BUY.

Bought these to plug into our Christmas decorations and to connect to put on engine block heater on a timer. Was easy to setup and connect to Alexa app to setup schedules. Wifi connection is strong enough that it is able to connect to a detached garage.

They are a little confused to set up and it doesn’t work for everything

These plugs are incredibly easy to set up. Very user friendly, the app walks you through all the steps. As a person who is not tech friendly I just ordered my second set and am beyond happy with the quality of this product. All of my Christmas stuff turns on and off with no problem. Can't say enough good things about these plugs

I used to use digital timers and photocell controlled automation devices to control my holiday lights. NO MORE. Leaving the Jurassic Epoch behind, I now employ these little gems. One for the tree, one for the inflatables, one for the outside lights, one for the little villages, all under Alexa routines and overriding voice control as needed. Throw away your timers and photocells. These are the future!
