I have tried tons of different matcha powders on the market, and this is my favorite one. It is a small can, but when I use the recommended amount daily it lasts me around a month. Since I can get it through amazon within a day or two that’s no problem. For those coming here because you know and love Emma and her coffee brand but have never tried matcha, keep an open mind. I see a lot of bad reviews saying it tastes bad and the price is steep, and I assume these are people who don’t know much anything about matcha and are used to the Starbucks matcha powder that’s 90% sugar. This is pure 100% matcha powder made in Japan. So it does cost a bit more because it’s premium. Do not compare this to her other matcha powders that are flavored, because this has no sweeteners. It’s an earthy taste that not many will like so just whip out the milk and sweetener and be prepared. It’s not right to write a bad review because you don’t like matcha. The product is great and just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it bad! Great job Emma, please keep making this quality matcha. In the future it would be wonderful to have a larger version for those of us who make it daily.

This matcha is a great standard beginner matcha!! It blends super easily into cold & hot beverages, and tastes super smooth!

I love the screw on top because it prevents powder spill.It peps me up when I don’t feel like drinking coffee and the flavor is A+++ on the tea. I’ve been drinking this for a month and am so happy with it. It blends super well, not chalky at all, and I feel ready to take on the day after my morning latte!

very green and gorgeous... but the flavor's just not there for me. I think this would be a good matcha for those getting into matcha for the first time, but if you already like matcha/have experience with it, I'd opt for another one. It lacks the earthiness that I'm seeking from it.

I usually never leave reviews but this one was absolutely necessary. I recently came back from Japan and became a matcha lover because of that and have certain expectations regarding how well the matcha should smell and taste. I ordered the vanilla flavor assuming that this would be a nice twist to the matcha I’ve been eating thus far and boy was a WRONG. This matcha is appalling and honestly an embarrassment. I ordered it last week and came in today and after trying it I immediately felt the need to write this review to make sure people know what they are in for when buying this product. For the price I paid, it is extremely not worth it. It is completely overpriced and takes absolutely horrid. DO NOT waste your money on this. There are companies on here that sell matcha directly from Japan which are not only CHEAPER but also better in quality. Don’t trust this company with your matcha needs.
