I was worried when looking at reviews of privacy film how difficult it would be to install and if they would actually give me total privacy. After reading many reviews for different products I decided to try this. I started by cleaning my windows with glass. I then measured my window and cut a section of the film a couple inches wider than the window. I then removed the protective backing of the film and sprayed the sticky side down with a good amount of water. I did the same to the window and sprayed it down really good with water as well. I then layed the film over the window so it was completely covered with a little excess hanging off each edge. I smoothed it out from the center to the edges. Once I had all the bubbles gone I used the blade provided and cut off the excess. It was very easy to install and took me maybe 10-15 minutes. The film is great! It gives me complete privacy in day and nighttime. I'm very happy with this product.

The media could not be loaded. We used this product to cover a door to our backyard. I love that the door lets in natural light, but also wanted to make sure to have some privacy as well. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out, despite some of my own minor errors (had a couple of cuts that weren't quite perfect near the edge so you can see a bit of the light in, but this is very minor). I was worried about giving this a try based on some negative reviews that said it was difficult to install, but I found that watching the video included with the instructions and making sure to use PLENTY of water helped it to go on without any bubbles. It stuck perfectly and we've had no issues with it, even when the dog goes up and paws at the door. I bought the "white" version and you can't see out or in the door really at all. It provides a lot of privacy. We did do an experiment to see how much you could see in or out at night when there is a bright light on the opposite side (such as a bright light indoors). If you are standing outdoors and there is a bright light inside, you can just barely see a bit of the shadow of someone standing very close to the door, and the further away they move, you can't see them at all. We've had this on for a little over a month now with no peeling or issues. Because of the white filter, it actually seems brighter with the natural light coming in now before with traditional transparent glass. A bonus!

I have one of those small window in my shower and I was looking for a solution different then the curtain that was in place. I was looking for option online and I saw this easy use kit. When you got the kit they give you all the tools you need to install the plastic directly in the window. What I like the most is that now I have all the light I like in the bathroom but without compromise on my privacy. No one can see inside my house but I still got all the light.5 stars for the functionality and the easy adhesion on the glass window.Be careful while using the little retractable utility knife- I cut my finger 🥲

I was tired of people getting on their tiptoes at my door peeking in the little window like a weirdo and I didn’t want to put a curtain there because I don’t like how it looks from the inside so this was the best solution. From outside looking in all you see is just a little bit of light, cannot see a shadow of if someone’s standing there or not which is what I wanted. Application was easy but tedious. It does come with the water bottle and you do need to use a lot of water. If you mess up it’s easy to just reapply til you get it right. The razor blade it came with wasn’t the best but it works.

Easy to apply, came with everything needed which was a bonus! Privacy was good. Thick and durable, and reusable! Looks great and value is good.

When I moved into my house, I had no blinds. I taped an ugly, curtain over the window for privacy from nosey neighbors who stare but never speak. Someone told me about this window cover so I went to Home Depot. Their covers were able to be seen though so I looked on Amazon and chose this vendor for the product. I received it this morning and installed it by myself within one hour. It gives complete privacy and looks beautiful on my door. I highly recommend this product. After ordering,It came the next morning as requested! I am so happy, bye bye ugly curtain lol.

I got this for my office window, as I'd get a full sun ray on my face in the afternoon. It does reduce the intensity of the light, but I still can't work properly unless I pull down the curtain.It was easy to install and looks good.

I spent several hours working on putting this film up on my living room windows. I love that they allow in light while giving us just enough privacy. BUT...1) I got one roll that just DID NOT WORK. No matter what I tried. More water. Less water. It kept pulling up at the edges and eventually just FELL OFF the window after a few days. Super annoyed.2) Make sure you're really clear on what size and how much you need. I just did the basic sq ft math, and ended up with a lot of "leftover" ends of the rolls that I COULD put up, but would likely be very difficult (since there are no gridlines to follow) and time consuming with (as noted above) no guaranteed results.I'm going to order one more roll, make sure that part of that window is pristinely clean, and try to finish the job properly. Wish me luck!
