Easy to use
It works very well. Gets the hair bouncy and fine especially for relaxed 4c hair. The comb attachments are easy to slide on and slide off. The structure of the dryer allows it for you to hold it easy with a firm grip. It heats well so it dries the hair fast I do recommend a leave in conditioner before use as not to make your relaxed hair brittle after drying. It's light weight, fits in small spaces n was worth the price.

Bang for buck
Great dryer for the price. I initially got one of these from the thrift store, and I liked it so much that I bought one from Amazon when the old one died. Works great and dries my hair thoroughly and quickly saving me tons of time. It’s not loud at all. The cords are of sufficient length.

Great STYLER dryer
I am a cosmetologist of just about a decade. The main reason that I purchased this dryer was its price, practicality and its brand. Andis is one of the leaders in professional clippers in the hair industry, so I figured that I would give this dryer a shot. I have fine/normal curly just to about the ears, and this dryer gets it QUITE straight.I must admit that the "high velocity" air speed is not there, however, The HEAT is REALLY intense. As a professional, if I had to compare this to a standard salon dryer, performance wise, I would say that it acts a lot like the original Chi dryers, low speed, INTENSE heat, with ionic coating to break water molecules up faster. Now, that being said, if someone wants a dryer that really BLOWS the water out of the hair, I would recommend, concerning affordability and professional performance, the Babyliss 2800, not that weighty and TRULY cuts drying time, in half, has a 3 year warranty AND Amazon sells it for half the retail price .This little Andis dryer works great for hair shorter than top of the shoulders, if you have really thick/curly or long hair, I would recommend use a T parting in your hair (draw a straight line with a wide toothed comb from the center of your eyebrows, to the back of your neck and comb each section down, from the very top of your head, draw a line from ear to ear to make a lower case 't' on your head) and do your hair in quadrants, (clipping them with butterfly clamps helps to keep other sections out of your way) 3-5 min extra prep time, but works WONDERS for straightening effectively, and saves you time in the end. This dryer does exactly what it says, it 'styles' hair, quite nicely might I add.The attachments are better than other vertical dryers that I have owned. The brush attachment is boar bristle, which allows one to naturally distribute oil through the hair, which is essential to a less frizzy and smoother blow dry. For those who have coarse, thick, tightly curled, or all of the above, use the comb attachment that best suits you, and use the brush to set and smooth it in the direction that you would like it to go, this will 'mold' your hair. Air cool the section that you are working on,The cool shot button on ANY dryer is almost useless, takes too long to cool, by the time it does, the section that you are working on is practically almost ready and is 'set'.Overall, this is a four star dryer, it comes with a FIVE year warranty, it's very hot, and it is great for people (like me) who suffer from carp-tunnel and arthritis in their hands. At under twenty dollars, this is a great deal, it is nearly impossible to find one locally at that price, especially with a professional brand backing it. Thanks again Amazon, I find SO much great stuff here!

Great for beards
This is so awesome. I've been usuing a straightening brush for a few years now on my beard, and I decided to try this because the straightening brush is pretty hard on the hair. I love the blow dryer so much more because it takes such little time to get a good look. It doesn't make the hair completely straight, but straight enough. Plus, it dries the hair closer to the skin too. I have a very long beard and this is perfect. It's a little big but you get used to it. I use the comb attachment and pull my beard straight as I drag the dryer over the hair and it straightens it quite a bit.

Easy to use, Ionic Frizz-Free Technology drys hair faster !
I have long hair. With age my hair has been thinning. I want less processing and exposure to heat. The three styling combs are easy to change. Good value for the money and fast shipping.

So awesome!
I bought this dryer after reading multiple reviews and watching unboxing vids done by ladies with much more difficult hair than I have (3c and up).It got good reviews and the price was definitely right so I spent my Christmas money on it, and I am not disappointed. I rarely do my own blowouts because they are a pain in the ass and always take me way too long, but this little golden ray of hairshine has me thinking I might have bouncy volume 24/7.I have type 2a hair that is dry and frizz- prone. I used this dryer on it for the first time last night and it took about 20 min. to dry my hair, start to finish.I used it at the US standard voltage setting. Started out on medium heat to rough dry, then switched down to low and added the brush attachment to finish.I love the straight design of this dryer, it's much simpler to handle at home than a nozzle-style unit. Between that and how lightweight it is, it's as easy as using a brush. It wasn't loud enough to give me a headache either, so that's a plus.I admit that I was surprised that it wasn't very hot at all (on medium and low both) compared to most dryers I have used in the past. I am actually glad that it isn't because, dry hair. No heat damage for me, yay! Still plenty enough heat and airspeed to dry my long (grazing-the bottom-of-my-brastrap length) hair thoroughly in about 20 min. Three or four passes with the brush attachment on each section and my hair was dry. Once more with the cool shot button pressed, and my hair was set.The brush is a very soft blend of natural boar and synthetic bristles and it is perfect for my hair. Decent tension for straightening and reducing frizz, left my hair super shiny, and it is easy to clean when finished. I like how the attachments slide on and click into place securely, the brush didn't slip once. I don't believe I will need to use the comb attachments on the dryer, but I have been using them as regular combs, lol. (Which I actually like better than regular ones since the wider bases are easier to hold with my carpal-tunnel symptoms.)My hair isn't completely frizz free, but it is much smoother than it usually is, and I definitely like how quickly this dries my hair. Oh, and there's no funky smell when it is used for the first time. Love the Andis Ceramic Ionic 1875 Watt styler, and recommend it for those who want to dry their hair quickly and efficiently.
