Poorly made
The media could not be loaded. This product is very poorly made. The length of wood pillars are so uneven that it will not fit together. Complete waste of money. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Would NOT recommend at all, don't waste your money.

Hay rack
This is my second hay-rack, one for meadow hay and one for timothy hay. Ilike the size, it holds a good amount of hay, and the vertical wooden slats are easier for the guinea pigs to take hay from without 'tugging' at the hay. The best way to put them together is to start with the lid, then turn it over and slot in the bottom circle. A bit fiddly, but they are quite strong once assembled.

Awful product.
So disappointed with this. Could not assemble, all wooden poles were different lengths. Waste of money, I don’t recommend buying this.

Very happy
You need patience to assemble it, as the sticks barely fit, so we had to use an hammer. But once assembled well, it does the job! We are very happy with the purchase.Edit 2024: bought a second one, and the 1st one is still working perfectly. Very satisfied.

What I wanted
I have guinea pigs and it's perfect for them. Some reviews were salty that they had to glue it together but it's a self assembly kit and it's not super expensive so I didn't mind sticking a tiny bit of glue on it so I knew it would stay together. Holds lots of hay for them and means they can't walk all over it so I'm happy.

Waste of my money
These are not great at all. The bars are held in place with friction only, this means that is one of the holes or the bar itself is not tightly fitting it will be loose and fall apart. I assembled two of these that I bought and put them into the cage with some guinea pigs, within minutes the boys had knocked them over and they fell apart.I'm contemplating using some PVA wood glue to secure the bars in place, maybe using some tacks add extra sturdiness. Not a great product when you have to DIY them into being safe.
