This is a great replacement oil plug for the Indian Scout, and having a magnetic tip is a plus, also comes with four crush washers. It fits perfectly well and so far, there's no leakage.I highly recommend it

I needed a replacement plug for my Kawasaki Vulcan 900 as the stock one was old and developed a small leak. This replacement worked perfectly and I love that it is magnetic. It fits snugly and securely and you barely know it's there! Loosening and tightening it is done with an allen wrench which is a little odd, but hey, no more leak and I'm happy!

Installed on a 2018 Indian Roadmaster. Fit perfectly and look like the originals.

I used this drain plug for the front differential on my 2014 RZR XP1000, I was changing the front differential oil and the factory aluminum drain plug was stripped, I got it removed by using a Torx bit tapped into the Allen style plug, I didn't want to use another stock aluminum plug, as I figured it would strip out eventually, like the first one. This plug worked perfect, and the magnet on the end is a bonus for picking up any metal particles that may accumulate during use. I'm going to purchase one for the engine when I do my next oil change.

Trying to do everyone a solid here since I don’t really see reviews on this working for the Scout Sixty… anyway, it works!! I was skeptical at first when trying to screw it in, especially cause it was kind of odd getting into the drain plug area. The issue was that the magnet is strong so it wants to attach to the engine block, causing it to want to go in slanted. You’ll know it’s in correctly going in when there’s ZERO resistance screwing in. Also, if doing an Indian Scout oil change, be sure to torque to spec!! I tried hand tightening (like I alwaysss have on every bike) and the bike started to leak oil a bit. I went back in to torque to 15 ftlbs and now I’m good! Be sure to use quality bits (I used Kobalt brand bits) to avoid stripping the hex pattern.My pictures attached to this review by the way is to show a fresh new drain bolt from the Indian dealership compared to the bolt/plug from this listing. As you can see, the magnet is the only thing that makes the bolt longer than the original. The threads appear the same, length of bolt (excluding the magnet) is the same, and width is the same.Hope this helps!!
