I cannot say enough great things about this makeup! The pallet itself is just what you need—all the basics. I really ordered this with not a lot of great expectations. I just wanted to see if it lived up to the Internet hype ... it does!I'm an older gal, sneaking up on 60, and over the past couple of years I've noticed that makeup too often settles into my lines and, I don't know, it just looks like I've got on spackle or something. This does not! This leaves you looking fresh-faced and beautiful!What I like most about this is that it's powder-based. I didn't know how that would be, particularly since my old makeup looked like powder had settled into the lines. But this rests above the skin, I guess. It doesn't call attention to your lines. Instead, you look about 10 years younger (or I did). I have had so many people ask me what I've done because I look younger in this makeup. I'm not kidding. It's phenomenal, and it won't weigh your skin down. I used to look forward to taking my makeup off; now I have to remember I have it on!The blush and illuminator are my two favorite things. I guess the eye shadows are my least favorite, though only because they are just so neutral. Anyway, I think this is probably my find of the year!

Easy to use, perfect coverage

3/19/25 I like the looks of it but the product came in damaged the first time I ordered. The blush was broken in half. The bronzer was broken in pieces. It seems like the packaging was mediocre at best.Update 3/23/25 I received this replacement product today in a small size box along with other items I ordered. These other items seemed to have protected this makeup box, blush and bronzer were intact. Good packaging. A piece of advice: do not order this make up kit by itself, order with other items so it will come in a box. My initial order was in a beige envelope and not well packaged hence the broken pieces. Overall I'm very pleased with this make up kit. Thank you.

I am 63 years old and, of course, have some wrinkles on my face. I use this Baked set daily and true to advertising, it doesn’t settle in my wrinkles and it blurs over them. I love the colors, ease of application, and longevity of the makeup. If you travel, it’s a great size. This would make a lovely gift for any mature person in your life who’s tired of wearing makeup which accentuates the wrinkles they’re trying to hide!

I love this palette! I recently bought the foundation. It works beautifully with the bronzer and blush. You won’t need a lot. A little goes a long way and I feel my face looks refreshed all day without the heavy feeling of how some makeups can be. It is pricey, but so worth it!

My aunt's Review: "I like the blush, plain highlighter and the eye shadows. However, the bronzer turned a bright orange on my face, so I can't do any contouring. I also didn't care for the highlighter with glitter, but I can see it might be good for evening wear. I prefer a more natural look. The coverage is light, though you can apply it in layers for the desired color intensity. The compact itself is rather large, so it's not too portable; it won't fit in your average makeup bag so you'll need a larger one. It has everything you need to create your favorite look. On the back, there's a diagram that shows you how to contour your face. This is extremely helpful and a very nice feature. The colors are softer and perfect for mature skin, because intense colors will age you. I can see why this is a favorite. I recommend getting Laura's angled Kabuki brush, because it makes application super easy. I also suggest buying Laura's makeup here on Amazon, because you are sure to receive it, since Amazon is extremely reliable with its deliveries."

This Laura Geller New York palette offers a fantastic range of wearable shades with excellent pigmentation and a lovely texture that blends seamlessly. While I sometimes wish there was one more matte transition shade included, the overall quality and versatility of the shimmers and other mattes make this palette well worth the price for creating both everyday and more glamorous looks.
