I am 6'1" and 245 lb and got myself 3XL (XXXL) and fit perfect. Feels perfect and also does the job perfect for me. Please don't hate me but I am a CA bike rider and for us in here when weather goes below 50F we feel like exploring Antarctica on our bikes. I've worn these during a trip here in CA and for a few hrs I was exposed to 42F weather and didn't shiver nor sweating. But I was comfortably warm under just atypical motorcycle jacket (not a very high quality) and a thin layer of turtle neck made out of a light material. So it may not be the best one in the world but definitely the best one for the money! Again, if you're riding in North Dakota winters it may not be sufficient for you but it is great as a base layer that helps you to stay warmer in 40F kind of weather at 70 mph on a bike!

These are great for sub-freezing temperatures. I just wore them to the Patriots game at Gillette stadium where we sat up on the 300's level in the freezing wind. There was a wintry mix with the temperatures dropping down to 15-20 degrees F during the 2nd half of the game, with the "Feels-Like" temperature of 0. That being said, I was super warm and even a little hot with these on as a base-layer. I would say the shirt was a little tight but the pants fit great - then again, as the base layer you don't want these to be loose or bulky, so that may be good. I'm 5'10 200 lbs and I got the Large size.

Very comfortable. They run small so get a size larger than you would normally. My chest size is a 44 and waist 34-36. I ordered size XL and it fits me well.

OMG I love these long johns! The last ones I owned were the old-fashioned cotton waffle type, which were bulky and cumbersome to put on. When these arrived, I was skeptical that they would actually keep me warm because the fabric is so thin and lightweight. But I was proved wrong the first time I wore them, while trekking in the Himalayas in Nepal in freezing cold, torrential rain. The pants that I was wearing over them weren’t heavy-duty at all—just typical hiking pants. Shockingly, these long johns kept me COMPLETELY warm. After I removed them, they were, of course, completely soaked, but they came off easily. Another great thing—because they’re so lightweight, they dry really fast, take up very little space in my pack, and are light as a feather. While I was hiking in that relentless rain, I told my friend that once I got home, I would definitely give this product a stellar review. If they did the job at 10,000 feet during a Himalayan rainstorm, I’m guessing they’ll do the job for you. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Sleek material might make you think "how can this set be warm"??? But it really is! Only 4 stars because not true to size. Order one size UP from your usual and DON'T put into the dryer.
