I’ve been using the Berkley Sick Nylon fishing line for a few trips now, and it’s excellent. The strength and tension are impressive—it handles big catches without any issues. The line is smooth, which makes casting and reeling effortless, and it doesn’t twist or tangle easily. It’s also very abrasion-resistant, which is great when fishing around rocks or rough terrain. For a monofilament line, it offers fantastic durability and performance at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for anglers who want a dependable line for both freshwater and saltwater fishing!

👍 Berkeley produce quality products which I have been using for a number of years now. There “sick” product line is no exception to this quality, the monofilament is of a great standard and perfect as a main line if not using braided lines. Great tensile strength and although not resistant to abrasion can definitely take a battering before needing replaced. I mostly fish in areas with lots of rocks or snaggy material under the surface mainly rough coastal marks and this monofilament has been a solid choice when not using braid.

very slick line casts nicely with a hint of elasticity what I wanted

This line cost me a probably good fish. Snapped clean loosing all my tackle and not even at a knot. Testing showed it was snapping well below the supposed BS. As this is a decent brand I'm guessing this could either be a bad batch or possibly even fake. I returned one of the two spools I had bought at different BS and junked the one that was on the reel that broke.

Great line for my spinner rod ease to use and has great strength even when snagged on weeds!
