Easy to understand, and good sequence of learning.
I loved this book. The author took each chapter to explain a different aspect of analysis. The book explained each ratio and then with actual numbers to help check your understanding. This book will not make me a millionaire in the short term but I now understand how to invest with more confidence than speculation in a business.

Great teacher
Tons of good information along with additional digital content to help newer investors. Once you get the digital content to help aid your learnings he also sends helpful tips and checks in for feedback. I had a question on a area where I was stuck at and he emailed back me the same day answering my question. Well worth the money!

Easy Money Matters
I found this second book by EZ Penn to be a good resource to learn more about creating your portfolio and understanding how to invest. I am sharing this with my 19 year old son because I want him to understand how managing his money, investing with some understanding can effect his future. Well written and the language is not intimidating. I recommend this book!

Easy to read, conversational approach to understanding fundamental analysis for investing in stocks.
I found this book to be an easy to read, conversational sharing of fundamental analysis concepts and terms to evaluate companies and select stocks for a personal portfolio and what is clear or hiding between stock report figures. The theme is long-term, positive, and realistic to analyze stocks, companies and their management and products for long term investment. There is a nice glossary at the end to define the jargon and each chapter has an optional quiz. I like the personal stories from the author about his approaches and about companies and stock investing history to learn how analysts view reports and select stocks for investment. The chapters are clear with current examples and deep enough to follow successfully but without being too complicated for a new investor to utilize. Overall the book makes it fun to learn about stocks and stock reports.

Part I - This book is a must for investor newbies
Every new investor needs to understand the complexities of evaluating a company's value. Fundamental Analysis for Beginners is an outstanding book on determining the value of a company's financial status. As far as I have read, the author simply explains the various tools needed to evaluate a company. He discusses, with shots of humor and knowledge based on copious experience a process for determining if a company is worthy of your hard-earned money. So far, I have made it to just reading the various required financial statements and have enjoyed the journey so far. I will continue to update this review as I move further into the book.

Easy to follow and informative
If you're a beginner investor, I highly recommend picking up this book. Any type of investing can be daunting, but AZ Penn helps cut through what's usually very difficult concepts with informative background and explanations. What I like most is that it's easy to follow. I find a lot of investing books jump around a bit. That's understandable since there's so much ground to cover, but AZ Penn clearly outlined this book before he set out to write it. It's extremely comprehensive and detailed, without it feeling like it's overbearing. I also like the quizzes, which help to ensure understanding and retention. Fundamental analysis is just that - understanding how to analyze potential investments on a fundamental technical basis. Highly recommended.

Read this one before Technical Analysis for Beginners
A. Z. Penn has released Fundamental Analysis for Beginners as a follow-up to Technical Analysis for beginners, but it's really more of a prequel. A numbers nerd like me loves all the charts and formulas, etc. in TAfB, but without a bedrock knowledge of the companies behind those numbers, it's hard to know which numbers and patterns to believe. FAfB supplies that bedrock. Another good subtitle for this book might have been "How to read a financial report with out sucking your brain out through your eyes." If Technical Analysis is the action movie, then Fundamental Analysis is the slow-burning drama that rewards your patience.Basically, if you don't have the patience to read this book, you probably shouldn't be investing in the stock market anyway.

well organized book on fundamental analysis for beginners
A.Z Penn does a good job explaining the basics of fundamental analysis .... he uses the income statement, the balance sheet, and the statement of cash flows for Amazon... information on ratio analysis is given along with many helpful hints on how to analyze companies, especially if you are thinking of buying stock in those companies.... a few test questions are at the end of the chapters, with the answers given at the back of the book... a link to five free videos is given in the book to help you learn concepts about technical analysis and charting... the book was published in 2022 and is certainly up to date.. with the bear market of 2022 and 2023 well underway, it is increasingly important to be able to value stocks appropriately and to see if the companies have the financial strength to survive this bear market.... fundamental analysis can tell you if you have a reasonable company to invest in, and technical analysis plus overall market conditions can tell you if it is the correct time to buy a stock... 5 stars for A.Z Penn .... steven vig

Fundamental analysis for beginners. A 101 guide how to make money with investing
Fundamental analysis for beginners is a 101 guide on studying a business as if you were going to buy it rather than its stock. To be like Warren Buffet, you need this book to make sustainable, profitable investments. The book is written in easy-to-understand language with a quiz after every chapter to ensure you have absorbed the concepts, often with funny answers in the multiple-choice format. I’m not an investor, but even I understood how fundamental analysis works to maximize your stock market profit.

If you are a beginner, save time, money, and many headaches with this book
After Skimming the whole book and taking a glance at the downloadable resources, I'm going through it slowly and taking good notes. So far, I'm really impressed–and motivated. I'm learning!!I read other books on the topic and felt overwhelmed and confused–no clue about what to learn, and most important how to do it.This is a well-outlined book, written in a pleasant and easy to follow style. Concepts are clearly explained through examples and similes. There are many interesting insights and ideas from the author also.Forget about the popular book recommendations on the Internet–and the many YT gurus. There is no need for premium "enlightening" trading courses.Don't waste your time and money. Start here, and you won't be disappointed. Many thanks to the author for being such a good and generous teacher.–This a review of the Kindle edition

Great book to start your investing journey
One of the best books on learning the fundamentals of investing and valuing companies. Greatly written in tutorial style. After reading this you will understand most of the terms used in financial websites and videos. You will also be able to do basic company valuations based on multiples and future discounted cash flows (DCF).

Comprehensive and expert tour through the fundamentals of the art and skill of understanding how to make intelligent investment decisions.
This is not the book for you if you want to buy GameStop or the latest meme stock. But if you’re prepared to do the work, it will help you see through the noise and really understand the fundamentals of investment.

A clear and educational read
As its title states, this book does a great job at explaining all the important things to know about fundamental analysis for beginners. It’s written in clear, jargon-free language that’s easy to read, yet it stills contains plenty of detailed and useful information for anyone interested in learning more about fundamental analysis regardless of their level of experience with financial markets. Highly recommended!
