For light kitchen duties, especially for coffee brewing that does require weighing and timing, this is a no brainer. Sleek design, functional, easy to use. Just know this, it does ship with a USB to Type C charging cable, but it DOES NOT ship with a charger. So I had to order the recommended charger which was a 5 volt, 1 amp charger. Three of these chargers cost 8 bucks on Amazon.

The scale weighs perfectly for my home use measuring my coffee to water ratios in grams and ounces. I’m satisfied with the quality and hope to get many years of use.

This scale was nice, compact and accurate. I used it every day for espresso/coffee prep. Even used it for small ingredient measuring. The functionality of the scale is bizarre and if you didn't have the instructions it's inscrutable to know what you are doing. This scale has an internal batter which you have to charge. They warn you to no use a higher voltage charger or it can ruin the display. In my opinion if they have technical specs like that they should provide the proper charger, they don't.In my case I used an appropriate charger each time. After 8 months of usage, I plugged in the scale the display went nuts and that was it for the display. They claim to have a 1 year warranty but I didn't see any contact info on their site or provided documents with the scale. I have reached out twice to their general mailbox for simply instructions on how to submit a warranty claim, I never heard from them. It is disappointing as the site states they will return your message within 24 hours.So bottom line it's dicey to go with this product. It worked well enough, despite the inscrutable methods of changing the settings and specific charging standards without providing a charger. The customer support has been outright fraudulent. I wouldn't recommend to anyone would use it regularly enough where it would need frequent charging.

If you are looking at this item then we can assume that you are at the very least a semi coffee nerd. Why else would you need a “coffee scale”? And let’s face it, this is just a scale with a timer. The only thing that gets it into coffee scale-dom is the pour rate feature. I convinced myself that I needed this although I’ve had a perfectly good Escali kitchen scale for several years that works just fine for my coffee weighing, pourover and Aeropress needs.Do I find anything negative to say about this scale? Not really. It’s good looking, performs every function as I would expect it to and seems reasonably priced. But after using it for a week I decided to return it since I don’t see how it makes any difference at all in the quality of coffee I brew. My kitchen scale can be used for all of the same tasks except for timing and pour rate. Timing? I’ve got an iPhone or my watch to see how long I’m brewing. Pour over rate? Really? I think that’s getting deep in the weeds of coffee nerdiness, but hey, if you think that will up your game this scale is for you.Negatives? It only weighs in grams. Even my $30 Escali can switch between grams, fluid ounces and solid ounces. I think other reviewers have mentioned that the buttons are a bit touchy, which they are, but I suspect that after you’ve worked with this for a while you’ll figure out how to make it play nice.A good coffee scale for the money? I’d say so. But ask yourself….do you really need a coffee scale??

It is a coffee scale with fast display response and easy operation. There isn't much to complain about. I placed my 100g calibrated weight all over and it was accurate regardless of location. It was a bit sensitive to movement so you will want to place this on a stable surface only. Battery life seems good. I haven't really had to charge it. Cleaning is also pretty easy.

After almost 2 years, the battery died completely. Doesn't charge anymore and wont turn on. I expected a longer life than that given the cost of this device. It's sad that this must go into the trash now and I can't replace the batteries without buying some expensive battery replacement. Really sad to see this die. I only had to charge it twice in that time and thinking about that makes it even worse.The scale was accurate, and had better measurements than my other 'kitchen' scales I've tried. This is very much a dedicated coffee scale and while it could be used for other things too, it's features really reflect it's specialty.I wish the flow indicator would be more customizable. Having a flow rate only for mass/(1 second) is sometimes limiting.The USB port was easy to use, but got debris in it. I think the version 2 solved this with a rubber cover. But this version does not have that.It's expensive for a coffee or a kitchen scale, and I wont be buying a replacement from this company given the short term life of the battery.The rubber mat is removable which is nice, but also a bit cumbersome when storing.Overall this was a decent coffee scale. You could get much worse for less, or a better one for more.

I’m kinda a nerd when it comes to coffee and having a scale like this is a must when you’re after the perfect cup. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking to up their coffee game. Being able to see your flow rate while pouring is great! The battery life has been awesome too. Been using it twice a day for three weeks and haven’t even lost one bar of battery life.
