I have a Pioneer Double Din headset with wired CarPlay. I bought this to save having to plug my phone in. It arrived in some very nice packaging. Plugged it in, clicked connect on Bluetooth, good to go. I have to say, its so nice when something works straight out of the box, without any hassle.

Apple CarPlay start up was a bit too slow and stopped working altogether after 2 months. Not impressed at all.

Easy to install plug it in and your good to go, phone connected instantly and every time I get in car within 10-15 seconds I’m all set via Bluetooth for Apple car play no hot phones or leads all over anymore :)

This connects first time and no drop outs

Connecting to a Polestar 2, connection works and screen/audio all function. However the play/pause button in the centre console and the skip/back button on the steering wheel fail to function. For Polestar 2 owners, I suggest you look at the Ottocast U2 Air which works better.

All connects Get the green light to say all good. For 2/3 seconds. Then disconnects n goes to flashing green light n will no longer connect. Returned for a refund

Worked flawless then just wouldn’t connect 2nd one I’ve bought had no issues with the first one. £100 down the drain over the 30 days so no refund or replacement.

Bought this for my wife’s Peugeot 3008 (2023yr) that has wired apple CarPlay . This made the apple play wireless. When she sits in and engine turns on, it connects within 3 seconds. She is very happy with it with all the functions of the apple play without plugging in her phone. Unit was stuck with a sticky pad in front of gear stick within short cable reach of usb plug.

Wir haben einen Gold 7 Variant und haben bisher mit langem Kabel aus dem vorderen Fach die Handys angeschlossen. Das hatte mehrere Nachteile, vor allem aber ist regelmäßig (und immer in super ungünstigen Situationen) die Verbindung abgebrochen. Dazu erzeugt jeder Anschluss einen Ladevorgang am iPhone, das ist nicht gut für den Akku und gerade bei einer Einkaufstour kommen so schnell 10 Ladezyklen hinzu.Deswegen die Suche nach so einer Box, und was soll ich sagen: Super. Installation mit der Anleitung hat 2 Minuten gedauert, idiotensicher. Bei meiner Frau gings dann noch schneller. Die Box liegt jetzt im Fach unter der Armablage. Verbindung dauert meistens so zwischen 10-30 Sekunden, warum das so unterschiedlich ist, weiß ich nicht. Stört aber eigentlich nicht. Finde es super, das Handy in der Tasche lassen zu können und trotzdem gute Musik zu haben. Carplay muss neu eingerichtet werden (Reihenfolge und Appauswahl), weil das Gerät ein neues Auto simuliert. Aber es funktioniert tadellos, nach ca. 2000km kein einziger Ausfall, keine Verbindungsprobleme und kein Hitzeproblem, selbst in dem Fach.Einzig was nicht "einfach so" funktioniert: Wenn man doch mal ein Handy ans Kabel anschließen will, dann ist das Auto überfordert, wenn gleichzeitig die Box auch noch dran ist und verbunden. Das führt zu komischen Situationen. Daher: Wenn man bei längeren Fahrten das Handy anschließen will, stöpsel ich die Box eben aus, dann ist es wie früher.Kann die Box absolut empfehlen, hätte ich viel früher machen sollen

Es pequeñito, no ocupa nada al enchufarlo al coche. La instalación es tremendamente fácil y rápida. Hasta ahora teníamos un cable colgando todo el rato, que quedaba molesto y feo. Ahora, el cable queda recogidito y discreto. Además, ya no tengo que acordarme de enganchar el móvil al entrar en el coche, se conecta automáticamente. Lo recomendaremos, seguro.
