Acquaer 1.6 HP Shallow Well Pump with Pressure Tank, Stainless Steel, 1320 GPH 115V Automatic Water Booster Jet Pump for Home, Garden, Lawn

I bought a newer home that didn't have a yard. The previous home owners tied into the house water with 3/4" pex and that's what I ran the sprinkler system on. Little did I know, most people in our area have low water pressure issues and have to tie into the main water outside 1" and help prevent this issue. Low and behold, my sprinkler water pressure is too low to even pop up the heads of the sprinklers and after it builds enough pressure, hardly sprays at all. I was fearing the worst, having to dig up my new sod and redo my sprinklers. I bought a smaller pump that did not help at all. I bought this bad boy as a last ditch effort to avoid redoing my yard, WORKED PERFECTLY! Easy to install, quiet, and does what I was hoping it would! I have about 10 heads on my biggest sprinkler zone, and the pressure would drop to 48 PSI (super nice the pump has a gauge), adjusted the pump pressure switch to kick on at approx. 55 PSI, with the pump on it boosted my water pressure back to 70 PSI and my sprinklers gained another 2' easily distance on that line and work perfectly! The pressure switch is adjustable, there is a cover with a small and big spring. Tighten the big spring to increase the bottom pressure switch setting (set to 20 PSI from the factory), tighten the smaller spring to increase the high side of the pressure switch (set to 40 PSI from the factory) works great, super quiet (a lot quieter than the littler pump I installed that didn't work) super pleased I don't have to redo my sprinklers / sod! LIFESAVER! We will see about longevity..**UPDATE** after fussing with the mechanical pressure switch, I could not get it tuned in for my application. I’m using the higher side of the pump PSI to boost line pressure. With the low side spring adjusted tight, the pump wouldn’t shut off on the high side. Upgraded to a digital pressure switch and solved all my problems. GamaTech Pressure Switch is what I used. Had to do some wiring but easy enough and worth it! Still loving this pump.

🚨🚨 Revised review 7-24-23🚨🚨I contacted the manufacturer and after a few noncombative civil emails, it was determined that the pumps thermal protection may be defective. The model I have is out of stock, so they sent me the next size up model! No charge.Now a days it's rare to find a company that is truly professional and actually stands behind there warranty and product! From start to end, I'm completely satisfied and can recommend this company's pumps!7-24-23 🚨🚨🚨I'm using this pump to water a new front lawn because my water pressure here is gravity fed and it's only 26 PSI at the hose bib.I have used a 55 gallon drum set next to my hose bib and my 26 PSI water goes into that drum, I pump it from that drum to a series of water sprinklers with this pump. It actually does fairly well. It will be better if it was around 60 psi output but the 45 PSI that it puts out is adequate (especially for the low cost of the pump).After my yard is established I plan on keeping this pump should I need one to help a neighbor out or even around here if I need to pump water for any reasonable distance.That said I can recommend this pump.Update!!!!!!🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨FINALLY HAD MY YARD REDONE!AFTER THE PUMP RAN FOR 1/2 HOUR IT WENT OFF ON OVERLOAD. IT WILL NOT RUN FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES OR SO!!! ABSOLUTE TRASH! DO NOT BUY.

So far this is a great little pump. I used it to transfer 1000 gallons of water from one water tank to another and back again after new tank was installed. Pressure is great. However, the flow rate is nowhere near the 1210 GPH advertised. Took several hours to transfer the 1000 gallons. Never overheated or struggled.All in all a good pump for the money.

My unit primed fairly easy and got all plumbing connections correct and once the plumb cycled a few times, everything was great, but it only lasted about 20 minutes and slowly the run more & more until it won't reach the factory set pressure to relieve the shut off pressure. We disassembled the well line believing the line wasn't deep enough, but found we were at 20 feet and the water level was 5 feet above that. All we devise is that the impeller either resolved or is now deciagrested.Problem is I purchased probably 18 - 20 months ago and just installed in August and there's a one year warranty...... China again.....

This pump is amazing! It primes easy and is super quiet with great flow. For the price you can't beat it! I am using it to pull from a 550 gallon water tank through 1" pvc into the pump and then output from the pump to water lines ran to 2 different shops. I reduced it down to 3/4" pvc to each shop and there is more then enough pressure to feed it all wide open. Better than my house pressure for sure. The only thing to watch out for is the metal threads on the output/input. You have to get them sealed up pretty tight. I had a slight drip even after I teflon taped it up and wrenched it down. I had to add sealant on the threads and that took care of it.

At camp I water 12 fruit trees for the last 6 years. This pump is outstanding, first I have 300 feet of hose from the stream to last tree, two sprinkles in different length on hose, I use this pump running 1 1/2 hours, on average 2 times a week depending on amount of rain, it stays cool the hole time running, waters 2 trees 25 feet apart at one time, before I had pumps from Habor Freight only lasted 2 years and cost $40.00 more dollars, now I'm an Amazon pump man, I finally have a pump that does the job, so I can get other work done while watering trees. You will be very satisfied with this pump............
