I haven't had a chance to actually use this but from what I am seeing it is very nice quality. VERY smooth operation. If they had made the side screw on cap (opposite of the handle) out of metal instead of plastic it would be much better. It feels weak and you will have to be very careful with it. One reviewer showed his broke. Even if they just made it of quality plastic that would work to. The handle it's is very nice. The reel feels much more expensive than what they cost.

Honestly, would I buy this reel again? No. As someone who avidly fishes I need a durable reel, and assuming from other reviews you’d assume this would have that quality. I fished it in the bay with some live bait and it held up fine, landed some small trout with it. However, i started using it in some ponds and I noticed after about 3 days of genuinely fishing it that the bail was starting to become off set. It’s gotten to the point now where the bail has become basically unusable because it catches on the drag cap. I’ve tried to fix the issue myself but it seeems to sometimes slip out of place. Since I only put about a week’s worth of fishing on the reel, I’m pretty disappointed in how it held up. I honestly don’t think it’s worth the money, you’re way better off saving up and buying a better quality reel. Not to mention, whenever you’re reeling it feels very off balance, I got the 4000 size so I can’t vouch for anything else though. Reel was smooth just a weird feeling to reel in.

Not a bad reel at all! She’s not bad at all casts good retrieves good and doesn’t feel cheap in your hand
