Hooked directly into my ESC and it works great. Didn't measure motor temps but seems to help keep things cooler.

This fan is awesome, especially for the price, it fit my new maxx slash perfectly and kept the motor real cool! The color changing light is cool too,just do it!

did 4 stars because I haven't run the RC yet, the bracket on heatsink fits loose so I put some shrink fit on prongs. works great, waiting on other parts, will update.

The media could not be loaded. Doesn't fit TRX-4 Titan 550. Says TRX-4 right in the description. I'm posting a video with this review. Watch it. UPDATE: So, I separated the fan from heatsink, added a washer between fan & heatsink at every hole. Reassembled. Now you can put a couple zipties through it & pull tight to secure it to motor. I raised review to 3 STARS because it works fine & matches other red trim. Also, I overlooked the engine numbers at the end of description that says which engines it fits. Once I seen TRX-4, I reckon I quit reading. My bad.UPDATE AGAIN: After the process to make this heatsink w/fan & lights (which I didn't carefor, at first) after 3 battery uses, by the 4th, both quit working. Sometimes the fan works. Sometimes the lights work. Most the time nothing works. Back to 1 star. Only because I can't give it 0 stars.

I was having problems with my 36 50 motor overheating cuz I was running it on 4S and big gears big tires and this thing cooled it off nicely.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to cool their 6s + motors. It definitely keeps them cool while bashing..
