Poor quality.
The quality of this item is your typical made in China product. I will have to keep i, as I can't wait for a better quality unit. It is a good concept but they dropped the ball on making it a good product. If you can find something better.

For the price, it’s worth it for a hobbyist
Not a bad design. Great for holding small boards. It’s all chrome plated steel and feels solid. However, the chrome plating is mediocre, but not peeling or chipped, just cheap. The threads for the thumb screw that holds the spring position in place could have been done better. The screw was impossible to tighten. I had to disassemble the bar, use pliers to force the screw all the way threw the threaded hole. Basically clearing out the threads. It worked fine after that. The screws on the bottom that hold the whole thing together keep loosening.Other than that, for the price, not complaining. For the price of 3 cups of coffee, it’s well worth it.
