Great for my basement rooms
I have two basement rooms where the plaster has been getting damper and damper, and patches now need redoing. The plasterer recommended I get a dehumidifier and I now realise that if I had just done this a few years back that work probably wouldn't need doing. Or at least the damp would have taken much longer to become a problem. I put this unit in one room and left it on for a week. Humidity level fell from about 70% to 35%, while a damp test meter I got shows the bad patches on the wall are massively dried out (red zone to green zone in a week). So now I am moving it into the other room and hoping it will work the same magic. Other reviews note that the unit is movable, not terribly noisy, easy to use, can be operated by timer or just left on until the water tank is full when it switches off automatically. I am amazed that the tank has been nearly filling up over 24 hours -- all that moisture was in the walls and air. My recommendation is if you have a basement room to get this, or one like it, BEFORE you get obvious damp problems. In the long run it will save you money as well as problems that make a room unpleasant to be in. I am kicking myself I didn't do this 4 years ago...

Slightly nosier than I hoped. Works well, not quite as energy efficient as our old unit.
Easy to use and works well. I purchase this one as the air inlet (and filter) are on the same side as the tank. This means the opposite side can be closer to the wall without impairing airflow which is great if you use in near a walk way etc.You need two hands to remove the tank which can be heavy (ish) when full of around 2.5 litres of water.A negative for me is than once you remove and replace the water tank you have to press the power button to restart the dehumidifier, my old unit would just restart. The controls are easy to see and use.Uses @6.2 watts on max fan (no compressor). Seems noisy.Uses @165 watt when max fan and compressor is on.This dehumidifier extracted around 0.93 litres per kWh of electricity consumed which is about 5% less efficient than my other dehumidifier. This was located on an upstairs landing next to wet towels and a bathroom which was left open after showering. It usually extracts around 2 litres plus of water a day in the wet winter which we run 24/7.Pluses: easy to use, large 2.5 litre tankNegatives: have to restart when replacing tank, slightly noisy, not quite efficient as another make I have.Would I buy again? - Probably as not many dehumidifiers has the tank and air inlet on same side.

Very effective and good quality
I'm really pleased with my humidifier. It's simple to use, fairly quite, well made and removes a lot of moisture out of the air. Especially on laundry day. It also makes the laundry dry quicker and stops my towels from smelling musty. Amazon sadly didn't fair so well on the delivery front. That is in part, due to the fact that they don't supply their employees with trollies. I live in a group of flats, where you have to walk along a bit of a path to get to my door. The delivery driver dragged the bag containing my humidifier along said path. I watched in horror as it bumped It's way along to my neighbours for a delivery at the far end and then bumped all the way back. I'm hoping it hasn't done any internal damage or loosened any components. It's okay so far...

You need to know the instructions.
I like this dehumidifier because it is on wheels and can be easily moved from one room to another, despite the fact that it weighs 8 kg, but you don't feel it. It does its job well, of course, it is noisy, but the noise is moderate, not annoying,

A brilliant purchase!
We live in a 1960's bungalow in Devon which has a flat ceiling as part of an original extension to the dining room. Despite having a new roof and a new window with a trickle vent, in cold weather the ceiling simply drips with condensation. I bought one of these dehumidifiers in the hope that it might help, and it has been so good that I bought a second one for the spare bedroom which also feels damp in winter. This morning, a frosty morning, we got 2.5l of water from the two machines which had been running overnight for about eight hours. The rooms feels so much warmer and drier, and the amount of electricity used seems very small from the smart meter reading. The only glitch we had was with the first machine which seemed to have a temperamental Power button. On one time when I was emptying the collection tank the filter dropped to the ground. Once I had worked out how to reinsert it (I could find no mention of it in the instruction booklet) the Power Button started to work as it should, so I conclude that the filter must have come loose in transit and was the cause of the difficulty.I think that these machines are going to be a great asset and well worth the outlay and small running cost. The units are not too heavy or unwieldy, nor so large as to be difficult to live with.

Good but won't last
We bought this product in December 2023. In december 2024 we noticed issues with it freezing in the back panel, wiring was coming out and the humidity sensor was messing up. We had a 1 year warranty with this item. Exactly one year the machine is failing and conveniently outside it is warranty by a few days when we first started noticing issues. I contacted cosi home they won't repair or replace because it is out of warranty. Machine was great but once it hits a year expect issues. We originally paid 199 quid for the dehumidifier. You would expect it to last a lot longer than a year and considering we only used ours for 6 months of the year. So I wouldn't waste money on this machine or cosi home products. Waste of time and money. Will be taking this issue further.
