Aleias Gluten Free Panko Crumbs, Original, 12 Ounce (Pack of 3)

Great panko that is gluten free. I freely substitute if one - for -one in recipes and not been disappointed. I have also used this as a sub for dried bread crumbs or crushed saltine crackers.

My wife is gluten intolerant, so I'm always searching for the best gluten-free foods...and Aleias is the best for panko/breradcrumbs I've been able to find. Other gluten-free breadcrumbs tend to become soggy during cooking, but the Aleias stay crisp and tasty. Love Aleias Panko!

Great product. Too bad one container arrived broken with panko crumbs all over the box Pros: good product that is gluten-free! Cons: package had no packing material. So one of the containers broke, spilling Panko all over the place. Too bad for me, no Panko. No returns and no way to rectify the situation. 5 for product 1 for packaging

I've used this GF Panko for chicken and pork chops. You can't tell the difference from regular panko. Other GF Panko products are more light bread crumbs where Alieas give you that panko crust you love.

Great panko substitute! But it had expiration date of 7weeks when I received 3 tubs, not practical purchase unless you own a restaurant that caters to GF customers.

I have tried many gluten free breadcrumbs and panko crumbs-most were like sand. These are really good. I have been buying them for a couple of years now and have used them in many different recipes. I am writing this to help anyone who wants to use them as a coating for fried food. I first coat with cornstarch shaking the food-often eggplant for me-in a plastic bag. I shake off all but a light dusting of cornstarch. I then dip the food into a light egg wash (well beaten egg thined with water) and finally into these panko crumbs. I let the food sit out on a rack to dry for a half hour or so (if you are using them on something other than vegetables, have them rest under refrigeration). Then fry in oil on medium heat until cooked through. They do not burn and they absorb so little oil! A variant coating that I use mixes these with grated parmesan cheese . All stoves are different and different pans heat better than others on the same stove. The oil should be shimmering, not smoking. These panko crumbs also work well for baked products that call for breadcrumbs.

Unfortunately the packaging arrived broken with breadcrumbs coming out of all 3 containers. Don’t even know how such a thing would happen. Really frustrating.

Typically GF Panko can get gummy or have a strange taste or texture to them (like cement like, lol). I just made chicken cutlets, used your product and they were perfect. I found them at Winn Dixie in FL. Bought 1 to try the product. I just bought 3 on Amazon!
