We have an island sink with a flat countertop (no backsplash or stepped up portion). Many times when we wash dishes, water is splashed by the sink, pools and eventually runs across the counter (where my son tends to sit to do homework, often resulting in soaked assignments)...The fact that this comes in a two-pack made it perfect for us. One didn't offer enough coverage to be fully effective, however I piggybacked them both together and they are the perfect length for us!We've had these for a couple months now, and I can honestly say we've had no problems, zero, with water running behind the faucet any more! I've even intentionally flooded them and they catch all of the water and return it to the sink efficiently.Yes, if you have hard water, or if other liquids get onto the mats it'll be noticeable, but they are easily cleanable silicone.... Someone offered that towels are a better choice, but towels collect water / moisture and mold... These do not.Overall they may not be the absolute most elegant solution, but they don't look half bad, and they're an excellent option - especially for the price!

Our camper kitchen faucet has no drain for wet fingers when turning on taps. Water used to run along counter top. This keeps it draining in sink.

It does not drain the water properly and kinda flat ! I wish it was a flat surface as it’s hard to put items on it like a soap dispenser( it tilts)

We have a leak from the handle of our kitchen sink and this is saving us from some unexpected soaked counter and floor while we wait for your parts to come in. Once fixed, will to hold the sponge.

I bought this because I needed a mat to fit around the 2.5”-3” base of my kitchen faucet. I cut to size and it fits perfectly. However, the rest of the mat is too short. I am unable to set my soap dispenser on it without the faucet handle knocking it down. Not enough mat space for it (see attached photo.)

I was looking for a nice brush holder for my kitchen sink. This looked like just what I needed. Of course, every kitchen faucet is unique and some artistic design these days. As a result, the opening in this mat was not quite large enough. It was very close. I tried trimming it with scissors, but accuracy is important when trying to form a seal around the faucet. I blew it. In the end, I cut this in half and used it to one side of the faucet. It works. It drains to the sink like I had hoped. It just doesn't look like it was designed to be there.
