This beannie is a must have if you like to take a walk after dinner in evenings. After charging the device with the cable provided, you are good to go. It is easy to remove the device from beannie. Push from outside and take it out from the inside fold. We have streetlights in our neighborhood, but it is always a good idea to have light while walking in evenings. Safety comes first. I bought these for my dad and brother for Christmas. They loved them so much that we bought more. They worked really well and make it so much easier than having to hold a flashlight.

I liked the hat and it was cute and fit nicely. But the headlamp didn't illuminate the street which is what I needed to walk the dog after dinner in the fall and winter when it's dark. I wish the beam could have been directed downward but no such luck.

The beanie has kept my head warm in temps that are in the teens. The LED has worked with out problem.There isn't much throw to the LED. if your gonna use it to read something it's a great light. If your walking through rough terrain at night. Carry a flashlight
