Great quality
I returned the brush because the project was cancelled. Seemed to be great quality. Would definitely order again.

Fantastic
Used this to rough up the paint in a truck bed for a spray in liner. Worked great.

Great for gentle abrasion over curves and textured wood with grooves.
I generally use crimped or knotted wire cup brushes for aging wood or sanding rust. If you age wood by aggressively sanding out grooves in wood with wire brush then you cannot sand with sand paper after that to smooth out burrs and splinters. This is where the nylon cup brush comes in. Nylon will gently sand, but it won't sand flat. It will sand it inside the grooves without removing any more wood. All burrs are gone. Furthermore, you can also use this nylon brush to remove paint or finish on curved wood as it gets into grooves easily without being too abrasive. You will need a variable speed angle grinder as you cannot exceed 2500 RPM or the nylon melts. An excellent tool though priced way too high. Harbor Freight sells the wire brushes for $5.

Removes paint fast better hit that quanity because they don't last long
I used it on my angle grinder for removing paint to prep for raptor bed liner spray job, it removes material fast and easy, better get a respirator, and grab a couple extra of these if your doing a big job because they don't last long. Almost finished my whole truck should've ordered 2 more would've been perfect for what I used it for.

Not what I expected
I purchased this item in order to clean up some metal on my truck bed. The brush wore down extremely fast and didn’t clean that much metal

Works well on steel
I purchased this to prepare an A36 steel plate I will use as a baking steel. I used it on a 7" polisher (5/8-11 arbor, variable speed, 1900 rpm max) and it worked well to blend the edge (prepared with a grinding disk) and remove rust left over from the vinegar mill scale removal step. There was very little sparking during use. The scratches left behind seemed a bit more coarse than the 180 grit abrasive it is claimed to have. I would NOT use this with an angle grinder, too high RPM.

Hold on
Not sure this is actually 160 grit or whatever, it’s more like 40 grit, but used this for the rippled panels to prep my truck for a spray in bed liner and it definitely makes short work of it. Tailgate had an existing poorly prep’ed liner that was mostly gone, this made short work of it. Bigger problem with this is not moving fast enough and removing more material than you intend. I got a similar attachment for my drill and found it better for tight, hard to reach areas. Consider purchasing a complimenting attachment if you’re preparing for a spray in bed liner.

Prepped truck bed for spray in bedliner
It is great for roughing up paint for prepping. It gets in edges and ridges well. Spraying in bedliner tomorrow. It saved me a lot of work from using just a sander. I used it on a harbor freight buffer at about 1500 rpm. Well worth the money.

very good for brushing/"olding" wood
bought this for brushing(kind of oldering) of soft wood, bear-chairs, worked super perfectly with Dewalt polisher on the 3500 Rpm. got a really nice rised wood-grain, and at the same time remove all burrs, and spikes on the edges. DO NOT USE with high-rpm angle grinders or zip-cutters - it will just destroy the tool and may ruin your work-piece

Amazing for prep for box liner
Can’t say enough good things about this product, prepped my whole truck to be sprayed for box liner in a few hours. Literally the whole truck, for minimum expense. Worked best in a large variable speed polisher I had running at about 75% speed. Will by another to have on hand for future use.

Wear safety goggles
I have used them for many years and I think there is no better sanding device for paint removal on metal or rust on metal
