These cards have a nice finish on them which makes them great to shuffle. If you riffle shuffle, they aren't so thick that riffling is difficult, but are sturdy enough to maintain their shape.

the spades and clubs are light grey and hard to see.

These are very slippery and fun to shuffle, if you can hold onto them. I agree with the other review that they are hard to read. I will say that these are more geared for cardiatry even saying it on the top of the box. I just had to buy them for how cheap they were. They are a fun addition to any collection.

I like to collect cards but I personally do not like to collect things just to own them, I have ipods and gameboys but I still use them regularly, I believe that if you are gonna own something and not use them it is a waste of resources and money so I was very disappointed when i saw the cards, as beautiful as these are they shouldn't be used as playing cards because they are hard to read, a very soft blue index on a white background makes them impossible to read in some lighting. Aside from that it's a great deck that I am glad to own.
