Worked well to replace an old set of hinges
Friends had an attic ladder whose hinges broke and needed to be replaced. I found these online and purchased them. These were a bit bigger than what they had had, but they worked well and are very sturdy and durable. They were easy to insteall and show last many more years on the attic ladder in a 1950s house.

Did the Job
I used this on a smaller single step ladder with the same design. This hinge wasn't made for it but it was the same as my old one in every way except that it was longer. Because of this the holes didn't line up. No problem. It is made of aluminum, I had no issues cutting it down to size, drilling new holes then using the provided bolts.This saved me $$$ over having my old hinge re-welded.

Functioned great
Used to add another hinge to a section of attic stairs for a 10 foot ceiling. This is expensive for what it is but it does function perfectly for what I ised it for.
