Piping Rock Royal Jelly Capsules 2500 mg | 120 Count | Non-GMO, Gluten Free Supplement

Don't laugh at me but I started taking this after reading a Roald Dahl short story about a guy who fed royal jelly to his baby who was wasting away to nothing. I don't know what I expect it to accomplish, as I am very much not wasting away to nothing...but I thought, if it's good enough for baby bees...it's good enough for me! It hasn't caused me any harm and, unlike the baby in the story, I am not developing any bee-like traits. So buy some and join me in my literary induced supplement consumption. All the cool kids will soon be doing it.

I always dissolve a new food supplement capsule in my mouth to see how it tastes. This one is delicious, but I can't really tell if it's doing any of the magical things to my pudgy little body that the know-it-all doctor (if he really is a "doctor") on the YouTube channel claims that it will do. Anyhow, it tastes really nice and hasn't hurt me any, so I guess I can safely say Nice Stuff! 😋

I take a lot of nutritional supplements, and although I have known about royal jelly and its nutritional characteristics for a long time, I had never taken any until I got the Piping Rock Premium Royal Jelly capsules.At the suggested dosage of 2 capsules a day, the bottle contains a two-month supply. The capsules are pure royal jelly: that is, excluding other secondary ingredients (gelatin capsule, rice powder, vegetable magnesium stearate, and silica), the main ingredient is all royal jelly at a 3:1 concentration. The label indicates that the non-GMO capsules are packaged and tested in the U.S.A., in a GMP facility. The capsules are also free of a long list of allergens (see the product graphics on the Amazon page for details).I started taking these capsules at the conservative dose of 1 a day, before switching about 10 days later to the recommended 2-capsule-daily dosage. Because I take other supplements, I can’t comment on their efficacy as a standalone supplement, but I can say that I have not had any negative side effects, nor have I had any decrease in energy levels and wellbeing in general. This is the case for most nutritional supplements: it usually takes time before any discrete improvements are felt. So, my experience with this excellent product has been very positive. As always, consulting a health professional before adding these capsules to one’s regimen is highly recommended, especially if medical conditions already exist.

These are very nice Royal Jelly capsules. They are about the size of most supplements, and easy to swallow. I am looking forward to all the benefits that have been found through taking Royal Jelly. I will come back to edit my review if I notice anything specific after taking these supplement for awhile. The only very silly thing I wish is that it came in the packaging that is displayed on the page. It is a much prettier bottle that this red and yellow one. I was going to put the white and gold bottle out on my counter in my bathroom, but now I think I will have to keep it in the cabinet. Once again, a silly thing to worry about, but just my thoughts. Overall I still think that this supplement is a great choice for the product and the price point.

This is good quality Royal Jelly.- Capsules are easy to swallow- No odd aftertaste or ill effects- Price/Value is good- Label has GMP stamp and claims 3rd party lab tested (I haven't yet seen the COA however, but Piping Rock has passed other 3rd party lab testing with Consumer Lab.)- My one concern is that it appears Piping Rock has been acquired by the private equity firm, The Carlyle Group, (makers of Carlyle & Horbaach supplements) and they have had serious quality issues - see my review of the Carlyle Hawthorn Berry for details. But for now, I'll give Piping Rock the benefit of the doubt that they're still running the quality production they've always done.That said ... Good quality for a good price. Recommended.

It is made in the USA and has no artificial ingredients. I like to take capsules like this with food. They are medium sized and not difficult to swallow. A good addition to my daily regimen.
