Very anatomically correct looking display. Would be great for the class room for biology. I like the reference colors for muscles and insertions. Nice display stand. Easy to set up and display. It is flexible. I stained mine to make it look more like bone and will use it for Halloween decoration.

This is a very good life-sized model of the foot and ankle -- it is well made and sturdy and very detailed. It would be a great teaching tool or a valuable study aid for students taking A&P courses -- a key to the bones and their major features as well as the muscle origins (painted red) and insertions (painted blue) is included. The key is simply printed on a thin, light-weight card and features a picture of the model -- it is packed in a plastic bag, but it might be easy to overlook, so don't throw it away with the rest of the packaging by accident! This model is very useful not only for learning the individual bones and their markings but for visualizing the complexity of the joints, as well. It can be used to quiz oneself on the muscle attachments and it also helps to clarify the action of the muscles and the relationship between different groups of muscles. The model can be rotated on the base, or it can be removed to examine the sole of the foot. The model is surprisingly affordable. It arrived very well packaged and the current price of $29.88 is very reasonable.
