I've struggled with figuring out how to keep my wooden floor protected from gliding chairs. I've tried adhesive pads and the little silicone covers. In both instances, the pet hair accumulates on the adhesive and looks terrible. I finally decided that I needed these and an area rug. It's been over a year, and this has been the solution I've been looking for! They nailed right in and have stayed put. The chairs glide easily on the area rug. I wouldn't use them on a bare wooden floor for fear of scratching. I tried the chairs on the rug without the glides, and they scooted terribly. Very happy with how these fixed my problem and have held up!

Really, how much can you say about gliders? They are well made; I drilled a pilot hole, hammered them in, and they glide smoothly. Is what it says, does what is needed!

I would rate this higher, except one glider scratched the floor a bit.

These Teflon pads are large enough to cap off full size dining chair legs and are strong and well made. I drilled a small (1/16 “) pilot hole to make it easy to install.

A simple product to install. But one slight issue i noticed is that after drilling a small hole to nail the peg into the leg of the chairs i wanted to use it for, the Teflon surface tend to bend when knocking the peg into place. Also, the nail and head are 90 deg., so when nailing to the bottom of a chair that has is slightly inclined, the Teflon head tends to bend when knocking flat onto the bottom of the chair's legs. This is not easy to explain, but i hope those reading gets what i was trying to articulate. Besides this, its a good product and will recommend for anyone who frequently moves the furniture positions without any noise.

Very useful product. Good quality and easy fix on the wooden chairs. Smooth gliding on the floor. Highly recommended.

The nails are heavy-duty and come with an individual protector (so that you don't accidentally prick your finger). The chair now glides with ease over the laminate floors. Family loves this product. I only planned to install on one chair which was missing one old protector, but now I have to fit all the chairs with these new protectors because everybody wants to use this one chair and a fight breaks out over it.
