USB doesn't communicate. Microphone and headphones only work through the headphone and microphone jacks, the headphone jack is a stereo interface, no 7.1 surround. The usb cable powers the lights on the headphones but my computer does not see the headset as a device. I have never had any issues with these kinds of devices not being recognized by my computer, I have two other microphones and a webcam plugged in via USB that all worked with no issue or hassle. Even through device manager I can't find this headset. It is defective. I tried contacting the seller who suggested I plug in the USB cable and the stereo jacks simultaneously, which doesn't even make sense, the headset still only shows up as a stereo device through the headphone jack (not sure if the seller thought I would be too stupid to realize this). I was going to return these, but I decided the $45 isn't really worth the trouble. Bottom line, if you want a surround sound headset, or a USB headset, don't buy this one. Honestly I have no idea how these things had a 5 star average

Pros: These headphones are very comfortable and don't bother during long gaming sessions. They also look really high tech. Present day today 12/07/2019 headphones still work on both ears.Cons: Microphone has never worked. These headphones don't allow for higher sound options; while they sound crisp, they also sound really low. I'm constantly placing my volume at max. I don't recommend these and wish I had done more research.I'm stuck downloading voice chat applications on my mobile phone (example teamspeak 3) and using my mobile Bluetooth headphone microphone to communicate with other players.

I know I can’t be the only one to run in to this problem already. The chord is shorter than any headset I’ve ever had so unless you’re sitting very close to your tv, you’ll need an extension chord. Also the usb, headset, and mic inputs are all next to each other...so if you have to plug your mic in to your Xbox controller, all the other chords have to sit on your lap. Chords including one that has to be plugged in for power (so you have to rest an outlet on your legs or right next to you), and the extension for the headset volume (which I would need to purchase a near 10 foot extension chord). I can’t believe this only has 5 star ratings. Yea the sound is good but if I kept this headset the level of comfort would be a 0 out of 1 out of 10. I gave it a 1 because it does feel good on your head. I know I’m not the only one this has happened to. Most of these ratings have to be fake. Sending back.

These headphones are garbage. Did not work right out of the box. Lots of static and constantly cut out if moved. The same issue(s) I have with all of these $30-40 "7.1" surround headphones. Don't waste your time or money.

There is no USB soundcard in this head set as mentioned in the description.

The headphones themselves are good and so is mic but it just didnt last that long

Not the quality I was hoping for. Feels cheap and can not get good volume from them. One small step above China junk
