Great little device
I was looking for a ‘simple’ guitar headphone amplifier and looked at a few options before I decided to buy the Mighty Plug Pro. Although this unit is packed with features once you set up what you want in the app and download it to the Mighty Plug Pro it is very simple to use. Just a volume control and a select button to toggle through the seven presets. (If seven are too many then you can even disable the ones that you don’t need)The number of options for amps, speaker cabs and effect are extensive but it is fun trying them out to find the ones that best suit you.On top of that you have a built in drummer, pretty basic but useful for practice, jam tracks and the ability to Bluetooth audio from your Apple and Android devices to play along with.On unboxing I found the device to be very well built all functions worked without issue. Some of the factory default presets were not to my taste but these were easy to update in the app.I find the sound quality excellent and the volume available loud enough for me.To Bluetooth the device to the app is very quick and easy but note that if you want to also connect the app to Bluetooth audio you have to make a separate Bluetooth connection on your phone. Again this is very simple but it took me a while to realise that I needed to do that. All in all I am very happy with the item and highly recommend it.

Great fun and so useful!
I bought this practice amp for silent electric guitar practice. For this purpose it is an excellent tool. The unit just plugs into your guitar and then you also need to plug headphones in.The unit can be connected by Bluetooth to your phone/iPad as there is an app that allows you to program the sounds. There are nine memory slots. These can be chosen on the app or there is a button on the unit that will cycle through the 9 presets. Of course there are more options on the app to tailor your sound/volume levels etc.The presets are easy to edit using the app. You can turn effects on and off. Each effect has a display like a pedal with virtual knobs. As with all these things the demonstration sounds are great, but a bit over the top. Dialing back the effects gives some very usable sounds. The unit itself has the preset switch, volume up/down and an on/off switch. The main preset switch changes colour when a new preset is called up. There are LEDs to show Bluetooth connections and also a low battery LED.You can also connect a separate Bluetooth device to play backing tracks or YouTube videos etc. This really expands the usefulness of the device. Be aware that this 'audio' connection has to be set up as a separate connection to the app connection. In other words you need to make two Bluetooth connections - one to the app and the other to "Audio". Once set up they default to the devices last used, so you don't have to keep renewing these connections.Battery life is good, I used it for a good few hours - 9hrs or so I think - before it needed recharging via the USB C port on the device.Overall this is a great sounding, easy to use practice tool. Recommended.

Great for home practicing. Good for the price.
I bought this for silent home practice with my Basses. One of them has a recessed jack socket, and I had to purchase an extension jack so that it could be plugged in, but that was not an issue as I realised this beforehand. When I first plugged the Nux in, the background noise was so overpowering that I almost sent the unit back, but after checking the internet, I updated to the latest firmware, which greatly improved things. It is not perfect but good enough for my daily use.I haven’t really used any effects other than trying then on day 1. I use the AGL amp sim which gives a close approximation to my actual Tone Hammer. The Nux has a built in tuner, and I can play along with my metronome app and music from my phone over Bluetooth.

Crazy good 🤩👍🏻
Bottom line up front: you get a MASSIVE bang for your buck here, and I know this from experience. Wanna know more? Read on 😎Ok, so I was sceptical. How could something this cheap sound as good as those YouTube videos? For context, I have an Orange Brent Hinds Terror with 2x12 cab and a PRS S2 Mira, but want a portable practice rig.I also have a Spark40 which is great and love but is not truly portable. I also have a Riff which I use with Bias FX 2, but what I love about the NUX, is the simplicity.Seriously, the presets are pretty good out the box, and whilst the App is basic, it’s simple and intuitive, and does everything you need. Tweak tones, play along with backing tracks etc etc.It holds up well against the Riff and Bias FX, as there are less cables required, which makes it just that bit simpler, albeit Bias Fx, in my opinion is the best in class, in terms of App and tweak-ability, but it’s a good £50 more for the setup, and you have to be Apple, not Bias FX for Android (yet). As a practice tool the NUX - it’s almost faultless, you can tweak and noodle to your hearts content, straight into your headphones or you can run a line out into a PA and or use this as a recording interface…yes, you can get this to work with your favourite DAW.I can’t speak highly enough of the NUX MP3, for the price, you get some amazing functionality, and the tone…mind blowing, and I’m a…or should I say was, a Class A tube amp purist. Defo worth a punt if you want a simple, good quality practice rig.Hope this helps? Any questions, please ask 😎👍🏻

Amazing product.
Really impressive. Was very hesitant at first about this but I was wrong. The built in sounds are ok but need work on. Luckily if you don't want to mess about it's easy. I googled patches for this and found loads. So easy to add just scan the IR code front he app and it adds it. Love the fact I can move rooms with it easily to play my other guitars. Highly recommend
