Iron Buddha is China's premium Oolong, a tea so widely consumed by the Chinese themselves it is effectively a household name. Unlike the full bodied, mineral-rich Oolongs of Wuyi Mountain, the Iron Buddha that we source from Anxi County is light and refreshing, with a complex bouquet of floral notes that combine both a distinctly nutty and buttery flavour. As a lightly oxidised Oolong, Iron Buddha is a close relation of Green tea, and therefore shares many of the same health benefits. It is widely viewed as a natural detoxifier in China, not to mention a miraculous fat burner.

better if compared to similar
i was comparing to "golden moon" this won.do not get me wrong "golden moon" -is a very good tea.I just liked "Miyagi" better.note: tea taste could be affected by a lot of factors and basically no two tins are the same.meaning, next tin of the "golden moon" could be more appealing to me, than MIYAGI

Such an Interesting Taste
I fell in love with oolong tea during a long layover in Taipei. This tea gets noticed at my workplace, especially by people who know tea. The packaging is helpful at work, too. It looks like something pretty special (it is), what with all the swanky, protective packaging.

Delicious and complex tea.
I've been experimenting with different teas after receiving a gift of Chinese black tea from a former student. I recently purchased two Oolongs and have been enjoying both very much. This is the more delicate of the two and has a floral and complex flavor that is very refreshing. I will likely purchase more when my current supply runs out.
