Found an good outlet strip with right angle plug
Been searching for a outlet strip the would be easy to plug into outlets which are behind furniture or cabinets and preferably with shorter 4-6 ft cord. Well made, snug plug fit with vertical mounting options. The two side receptacles are handy for wall wart transformers. I wish the top receptacles had a little more separation though it would make the outlet strip longer.

company stands behind their product.
I ordered this tripp lite suppresser and it failed in use protecting a cloathes washer and a gas dryer. I called tripp lite and disassembled the power strip. One solder pad on the switch appeared to have gotten quite hot and melted the solder away connecting the switch terminal to the circuit board. The amps drawn on both machines was listed at 5 amps dryer and 6 amps washer. I resoldered the terminal to the circuit board and both lites work on the power strip. Tripp lite sent me anther power strip and indicated that it was probably an overload even though the strip is rated at 15 amps. They did not require me sending back the repaired one and simply sad that in this instance, 2 power strips, one for each machine, is indicated. I already have a whole house Eaton surge protector at the main panel and another in the sub panel and a strip at each appliance. Including anything with a circuit board. like a furnace ,refer, microwave, dishwasher, etc. Thank you tripp lite for standing behind your product. Buy with confidence.

Feels high quality for a low price
For such a low price on this power strip, the body of the power strip feels substantial with thick plastic. It's too thick to have any give when you squeeze it. The seam doesn't creak like cheap plastic molded junk does. The plugs go in smoothly and completely and are gripped well with no danger of falling out.The best thing for me is that the cord is heavy and made of some kind of rubber on the outside instead of plastic. It means that it doesn't hold a stiff shape and can easily be routed around things to stay where you put it. It has a low-profile, right-angle plug where the cord comes out diagonally just to the right side of the ground pin if the pin is facing down.

Excellent quality product
I purchased this surge protector for my television. I've purchased this product before and it's great quality plus I like the extra outlets. Highly recommend.

Some of the best surge protectors on the market
I have been using triplite for years. This surge protector is nicely designed and built. The plastic casing on this feels thick and robust. The clamping voltages are 330 400 400 and with a joule rating over 2000 this is a no brainer good device. I like the fact triplite does not try to hide any of the ratings if you go to their site to look it up. Other big companies known for surge protectors seem to hide this info or don't list it or change it in mid production. Id rather have a company that is direct with what its products can do than one who hides things or uses a lot of fluff marketing to sell. In all the years I have been using triplite I had one surge protector stop protecting and the warranty and customer service was great.

Very good protector!
It's great, I love it, but read this. I live in an older rented house and when I moved in I checked the wiring to find out the three outlets in my computer room, (although having modern three wire plugs,) were not actually grounded. I ran my own grounded outlet because I ASSumed the others were only two wire outlets and couldn't be grounded. A little while later, I was in the basement and noticed a junction box with the ground wires hanging down. I wired them all together... and the sockets in my room were then grounded properly. I tested two of the three and ASSumed the other one was ok. After I installed the protector, I hate installing those things, lining up the holes on the back, getting the screws to work, After you find them, they should put a tab on each end to enable two screws at each end to hold it. So, I installed it and the grounded light failed to come on. The instructions said send it back, and I was back at Amazon ready to fill out a return when I decided to check the outlet itself. It had the old two wires going to the three wire receptacle! I had to use a heavy duty extension cord from one of the grounded outlets to plug in the Tripp lite and it now works fine. The moral is, never assume an outlet is grounded because it has a three wire receptacle, even if other outlets in the room are. Simple ground testers are cheap and could save you a lot of time and trouble. I am a trained electrician, and although the things I did were fairly simple, Never do them yourself. I blame myself for not bothering to check that third receptacle, and I almost went through the hassle of returning a perfectly good product because of it. Two hours of my life are now gone forever, well, to be fair one hour was spent looking for the damn screws, hooking up a surge protector that should have been plug and play. Woe is me. Great protector though!

I have never lost one thing
We have a lot of digital and electronics in my house and most would be too expensive to replace if we had a power surge or a lightening strike. Every single thing in my house that needs protecting, from coffee maker to an expensive room purifier are all on Tripp Lite Surge protectors. I got this one to go on my bedside table. On my bedside table I have a portable house phone and a digital electric alarm clock. I also have a bedside lamp right next to the head of my bed. Since I live in a mobile home there is not much room to between beds and furniture. I had another surge protector for all the things I mentioned but it was so wide that it did not leave much room on my bedside table. I bought this one and because it is narrow it saved a lot of room on my bedside table so that I was even able to add a box of Kleenex to the table. Now I have all of the things I mentioned in the above plugged into this surge protector as well as my Kindle Charger is also plugged in. Everything is now more accessible and I don't have to move my bed to get to an electrical socket to plug or unplug my devices/equipment.As far as the protection itself goes, in all the years I have been using Tripp Lite Surge protectors I have never lost one thing that was plugged into them--and we have a lot of power surges and storms here where I live. I find them very reliable and would always buy this name brand.

Just as expected.
I didn't realize how helpful a right-angle plug is until I needed it. It's great for behind the bed or other such places - very, very convenient. It also has proper holes in the back for mounting. The plugs on the sides may be in a kind of weird place if you leave the surge protector on the floor, depending on what you are connecting.I've had one power outage since I received this and everything works perfectly. I also must say that from what I've read, Tripp Lite is a pretty reliable and widely known brand, and that gives me confidence in the product as well. Certainly more confidence than I have in a power strip I bought from a random store for not that much less (before I knew the difference between power strips/surge protectors), which has had a couple minor problems.

Excellent product!
Purchased due to the side mount plugs which are convenient for large power plugs, e.g. modem and router plugs. Only complaint would be the angled configuration of the unit's plug itself. Wall plug wanted to use adjacent to a divider in new wall unit and angled cord plug would not fit so had to rearrange routing and the components being served.Another reason for purchase is experience with an identical protector which is more than 5 years old and trouble-free.

Excelente producto

Good quality, recommended.
Solid construction with an on/off switch and good number of spaced out outlets. Supports enough power with a decent cord length. I would buy another one if needed.
