24"x26" Octagon Mat

This octagon gymnastics mat was a Christmas gift for my granddaughter, and she was beyond excited when she opened it. The quality is excellent—very sturdy, well made, and supportive. The color is bright and fun, and it looks just as nice in person as it does online. It feels durable enough to hold up to lots of play and practice, and it was absolutely worth the price. A great gift that has already gotten a lot of use.

Excellent barrel for our 6 and 8 year old to practice back walkovers. Sturdy and effective.

I wanted to wait to write a review until we had had it awhile to see if it was going to hold up. We've had it for quite awhile now - my daughter uses it everyday to help with back handspring, she takes it outside, and puts it on her trampoline. It's been drug all over the house and has even been used as an extra seat and a table lol. It is very well made because there's not a scratch on the outside or a soft spot.

This tumbling mat was perfect for my six-year-old, who is just starting out at level one in tumbling. If our budget had allowed, I would have opted for a larger size to give her more room to grow into skills like back handsprings (which she’s still building strength for). I’m especially glad we chose the foam hexagon mat over an air inflated cylinder. While both are great tools, I feel they serve different purposes. The hexagon mat is self-limiting in how far it can roll, which allows my child to practice independently without needing additional cradles or someone to hold it in place. It’s been a great choice for her at this stage! No assembly required, was delivered quickly with no imperfections or issues.

Product looks exactly like the pictures and is exactly as described. Seems sturdy yet is lightweight. All soft edges and seems are well sewn. Covered in easy to clean durable material. Does have a folded seam but doesn’t appear large enough to effect the usability. Colors are solid and exactly like product photos. Great price for the size of this thing as long as you don’t have to pay any shipping. Other sellers charge a lot to be delivered by other carrier than Amazon. FedEx delivery was on time but box was very damaged but product was untouched. Decently packed so prepare for large box delivered to your door. Easy to use and helps tremendously with teaching proper form.

I was really nervous after reading the reviews that it would be too small for a 9/10 yr old that is around 4’7”. Though it is a little shorter than I would have preferred, it still works perfectly. Great for cheer practice!!
